8G nano (only hours old) is freezing on the main menu
Only a few hours old, my new 8G black nano is freezing on the main menu. Nothing will respond, except a reset and then it brings me back to the same thing -- a frozen main menu. It was working. I did synch -- a few times. All I did was turn off, and then turn back on, the cover art option and now this.
I have reset a half dozen times already. Connected, unconnected, connected. Nothing.My Nano 3rd Gen is doing the same thing, and it's totally because of the album art and the cover flow. Whenever it tries to do cover flow, it freezes and the click wheel won't do anything. I have restored a half dozen times, and when I put a track on the Nano that I know says "No Artwork Available" the Nano works just fine, but if I accidentally put one track on that doesn't, the Nano tries to put up the cover flow, and it freezes. The thing is 3 days old.

Which Acrobat version are you using?
By saying Acrobat writer, do you mean Adobe PDF printer in Acrobat or PDFMaker in Office products?
Also, you might try repairing Acrobat from the Help menu.

Angry birds rio quit working when I installed the latest app. I even uninstalled it and started over. When I try to start the game, it goes back to the main menu. I need help badly but in simplest of terms so I'll be able to follow.
Have you tried closing the app completely ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Angry Birds 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Angry Birds app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
I updated my itunes (latest verion out as of nov/20/2012) and restored my 2nd gen itouch, now my itouch does not work properly (keeps freezing). how do i fix this?
If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

Most of your purchases content can be downloaded again via the Purchased tabs in each of the store. I realize that this will be a problem for the iTunes Store on the iPad, but that has nothing to do with apps, since apps are in the App Store.
If you backed up synced with iTunes before you restored the iPad, your content should be in iTunes on your Mac and you should be able to sync it back again. -
My "search" section in itunes on my iphone is not working. When I press the magnifying glass the screen is blank. Any suggestions? Thx

Thank you for providing so much detail about the issue you are experiencing with the iTunes Store.
The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting and relaunching the iTunes Store, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.

Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.
Take it to Apple for evaluation and a replacement. -
Updated my iphone4 with ios6.1 software. App store is not working. Tried rebooting, restoring, changing date, signing with another apple id etc. but no luck. can someone please help?
I guess I will wrap this up. I have abandoned iPhoto and viewing my Photo Streams using it and moved to Adobe products (Bridge + PS). So that's that.

The touch screen is not working when I am in the Music app of my iPod Touch. How do I get it to begin working? It just stopped today.

After upgrading to Firefox 3.6.12 all functionality appeared to be intact. Then after a few days it lost the ability to "page forward" or to "page back" and are "grayed-out". Additionally, the Main menu items such as File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools & Help are also grayed-out and non-functioning.
Also, the "Search Window" does not search, Web Searches need to be performed from within the URL window instead, for some crazy reason. If the URL window is blank when I enter a search into the actual search window the following appears in the URL window, "Search Bookmarks and History", which makes no sense.
I have noticed similar complaints in this Forum in the past but I have not seen any posted resolution to these issues. Is there a solution?Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.<br />

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)
