HT1430 My iphone 3 is stuck with the voicemail password prompt on the screen.
The screen is stuck with the password prompt on screen, will not enter or cancel and the prompt covers the power off swipe bar if I try to restart it. HELP
I did put it in DFU mode but its still not working, although everytime it shows your iphone needs to be restored. Kindly help.

My iPhone is stuck in a mode where it thinks the headset is still plugged in.
I cant get any sounds through the speaker. Cant hear sms or emails arrive. If the phone rings i hear it but pple cant hear me or i cant hear them.
The phone works fine with the headphones plugged in.
I have tried all the usual solutions, inserted and removed the headset (at least 50 times)

Nothing seems to work. I have searched on this and it seems to be a well know issue but there doesnt seem to be any firm solutions that i can find to fix the problemIf no change after inserting and removing the headset at least 50 times, powering the iPhone off and on, an iPhone reset, and restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem.
Make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby. -
my ipad 2 is "stuck" with a connect to itunes on the screen ... and itunes says it could not restore the os ... so now itunes does not recognize the ipad when connected to the pc ...i have updates all the software on the pc and disabled Norton as the troubleshoot instructions suggested; however itunes still does not recognize the ipad .... help!

Randomly while scrolling, the screen just goes beserk and gets stuck with random colored lines. And, the only way to get rid of this is to restart my entire computer. You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them. -

My iPhone will not keep my voicemail password. I'll put in the correct password and it will go to visual voicemail, but sometime later, it will revert back to asking me to dial up my voicemail. It wont even ask for a password.

Thanksmy first suggestion would be to call at&t (im assuming you have at&t) and have them reset your voicemail or have them configure your voicemail for use with a iPhone that may be the problem not positive just call 611 and try it out..

this usually appears when your iphone is not registered correctly with apple/itunes so plug it in to your computer and try setting it up if it gives you the correct prompt. if not try to restore and sync. usually tis problem appears when your iphone has no sim card or is not registered correctly. in this case you need to contact your carrier and set up an account. if you are trying to use it without a service or sim card then unless you go through some sketchy program of hacking it it is worthless to you without a sim or service plan. i have the original iphone1 i got from a buddy of mine i used as an ipod before getting an iphone4 and if i took the sim out this message appears. if you do have a sim and a service plan than there might be a problem with the phone reading the sim card you you can go into your service provider's store and request a new sim to see if that works.

Ask your carrier. Voicemail is a carrier feature; they may have a way to set a temporary greeting.
