HT1430 My iphone 5 turned off and it wont turn back on
My Iphone 5 was on, after i received a text message it turned off and it wont turn back on, how can i reset it? or get it to work again
Try holding down the Sleep/Wake button and Home button at the same time,
Continue to hold both down until you see the Apple Logo on the screen. Once you see the Apple Logo on the screen let go of both buttons and allow the iPhone to reset.
Hope this helps

my iphone turned off and it wont turn back on ive tried everything but my home button is broekn so i cant recover it how can i fix this?
Well, if your Home button is broken, you won't be able to reset your phone, and if the Sleep/Wake button won't turn your phone on, it's a trip to the Apple store.

my iphone just went all hot turned off and now wont turn back on, any ideas??
Let it cool and then reset it... press the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

I turned my iphone 3g off and it wont switch back on
I turned my iphone 3g off during a movie and it wont switch back on, i tried turning it back on resetting it and whatnot but it comes up with a blank white screen and then turns back off. I tried recovering it but it gets stuck at 3/4 and then freezes.. ive looked through the forums already but nothing helped, what can i do?
I never had WiFi sync and it has never been jailbroken.Could be short in the iPhone charging port. Clean the charging port with a clean dry toothbrush. See if better. If not, iPhone 5 has Warranty. Make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution.

hi!
i have the ipod touch 5th generation and last night i was using like i normally do,but the it just turned off and i thought that my battery died so i put it to charge but im pretty sure that my battery was at least 40% so i found that a little bit odd and when i plug it in it didnt make any sound and nothing showed on the screen. I kind of just ignored it so i let it charge the whole night and the next morning when i woke up the firts thing i did was to check on it. My ipod still wont turn on or charge and tried to connected to my computer but nothing shows up. i will really appreciate if someone could help me.
thank you (:Try:

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My Iphone just turned off, and it wont turn back on. What should I do?
My Iphone randomly turned off when I unplugged it from the wall, and now it won't turn back on...
whats wrong with it?!?If roaminggnome advice does not work. Plug in iPhone to Wall Charger and Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone begins to start. Usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons.

As i was using my iPhone, it suddenly shut off without being shut off by anyone.i tried to turn my iPhone back on several times and nothing has worked. what could be the problem?
Does it, instead of powering up, show a little battery icon almost empty and a plug icon next to it? In that case it needs recharging to have enough power to start up again. Even if it doesn't, try connecting it to a power source and see what happens. If it doesn't respond there you may need to bring it in for repair.

I phone 4s is not charging, its showing that the power is connected, but still not charging
Hi Sharky,
First, I would make sure you are charging using the wall adapter and cable that came with your phone. Plug into wall outlet.
If it was completely drained it can take about 20 minutes for it to fully get enough power back to even start up.
After about 20 minutes of charging in the wall outlet try turning it on like normal.
If it doesn't respond by just pushing the power button, try pushing and holding the power and home buttons together for about 15 seconds to see if it will startup.

Connect iPhone to Wall Charger and Reset, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until the iPhone begins to start.

my iphone came up with that timing circle and just turned off and did not come back on ? even when i charge it now it still wont turn on ,do you know the problem?
If the battery was empty (and it may then take 10 to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

My Phone keeps draining to 1% and then i turn it off and it wont turn back on for charging Iphone 4s
ANyone know how to fix itAt 1%, there is not enough charge and it will not turn back on. It will (automatically) turn back on when the percentage is around 5%.
In iOS 7, you will only see the battery (red), means it is charging. If the battery (red) + wire is shown, you would need to charge your iPhone. -

The hotness indicates a possible hardware problem. If the iPod is defective and not abused Apple will exchange it at no cost -
