HT1430 My used 3g iphone reverted back to previous owners information
Grandma needs help with used iphone from D-I-L. My son unlocked and erased my D-I-L's information and set mine up with a new ID and Password. I went to restore it on itunes and all of my contacts were dropped, but the apps that I downloaded remained. The settings went back to my D-I-L's settings including her pictures and so on. Help, I loved my iphone and really got used to the features. Please help.

What iOS is the phone running? If it is iOS 7, then as ramzee209 indicated, you must contact the seller to get any further.
If it is running an earlier iOS, you can hook it up to the computer where you iTunes library is located, and restore it:
Place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

Someone nicked my Album Cover flow, without asking. I have snow leopard. I was happy. Just before Christmas as if I havent got enough to do Thank You. I've given Apple loads of money this year--presents and all, the least they could do is tell me, they're going to take stuff off of My computer that I enjoy,/ find very useful/ and worked hard to update all my album covers and have a gallery of my own artwork for my mixes--it was beautiful. When I went to add some more, the facility had been taken away from me. Was so dissapointed. They send me emails all the time to buy the latest must have products. I even did a questionair to help them. They really care for their customers--right. So why couldnt they warn me about this update, its only polite.
If I bought a warm coat some years ago, then the manufatures came round without my knowledge and cut off the left arm, and later told me, their reserch says that people dont use the left arm so much so they have to get rid of it. 1. I think that would be illegal. 2. its impolite not to ask if they could do it. 3. why not give me an options to keep it, seeing as i bought it. 4. its ludicrous.
I trusted Apple-but then -they took my YouTube off my ipad. I cant update to newer software as I will lose some expensive programms (Im not made of money). I also have 2 oldish defunct but fully working laser printers (if they were compatible with new software).
Im not a techky-I just use the stuff, I do art and music and Cover Flow was equipement I used.

Is there a way of reverting back to previous firefox version
I use firefox extensively for development. I use firebug and dojo. It seems that the new version (Firefox 4) is far slower than the previous version and sometimes hangs completely. I believe this may be caused by Firebug doing a lot of work but it never used to happen. Also firebug doesn't quite seem to work as well with dojo script. Previously if you did a dojo.require to drag in a js script file then you could automatically see it through firebug. Now have to put files I want to debug with script tags. Is there a way of reverting back to previous firefox version?
No need to re-install plugins or extensions.
You can install them both but there are a few steps to take.
When you install the second version of Firefox use the custom installation option and choose a different location to install Firefox.
In order to use both versions, you need to create a new profile for the second version of Firefox (Firefox stores user data in the profile). Using the same profile with different versions can cause problems. Once you create a new profile you can copy certain data such as bookmarks and passwords between them. You can also use Firefox Sync to keep the profile synchronized. Finally, you will need to set up shortcuts to launch the correct profile for each version.

ABAP Code in End Routine - reverts back to previous version

Currently, we are in upgrading from 7.01 to 7.4. The new development environment is only used to built the new development work until the mirror image client is upgraded.
In one customised dataflow, we place some code and the transformation is activated. No issues at all, then the next day, the code reverts back a previous version. Consequently, we are losing the code. We already have a sign off of a piece of work and we checked the code again. We were puzzled as to why the code has gone back to a previous version.
SAP is asking to replicate the issue. Unfortunately, we cannot replicate accurately this issue. Now, we have two more developers reporting the same case. Yet again, the issue comes and goes. We reboot the server with some success. Then days later, the issue pops up with a developer. The Basis guys have not found anything related to this case.
Any idea is welcome.Sync to Date is currently the only option offered by the DTR.
You can only edit the active version of a resource in a workspace, because the DTR does not support branching within a workspace: There is no mechanism in place to merge an older version of a resource into the same workspace.
If you want to do this, you must make a copy of the workspace (a "maintenance" workspace) and make your changes in that workspace. You can integrate the related activity/activities into the "ongoing development" workspace afterwards, if you want to of course.
Why don't you want your bugfixes to be forwarded by the way? Those bugs are also in your enhancement tracks... -
Outlook 2010 Contact changes revert back to previous version
I have a user on a corporate domain who is using Outlook 2010 to connect to an Exchange 2010 Server. Everything is working normally except for the user's Contacts; she is able to create new contacts with no issues. However, when she modifies
an existing contact and saves the changes, the changes will only remain for a short period of time. Sometime after the changes are made, the contact will revert back to its original information and the changes are lost. The amount of time between
when the changes are made and the contact reverts is unpredictable and will occur even if Outlook remains open the entire time (in other words, Outlook does NOT have to be closed and re-opened for the incident to occur.)
We have even gone as far as removing the user's Outlook profile and associated files and recreating the profile on the machine. This has not fixed the issue.
The specifics for the user:
Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010
Intel Core i3 Processor with 4GB of memory

As far as removing and re-adding the account, I've already done that numerous times, going so far as to even removing Outlook and re-installing. This issue has even followed the user across multiple machines.
The user does have a SmartPhone that she synchronizes with. I've tried removing the SmartPhone from her account and then making the change with the SmartPhone no longer synching and the issue still occurs.
I will also go back and check the event log to see if there are any notifications. I don't recall seeing any issues or errors pertaining to this in the Event Logs. It just seems to be a totally random event that doesn't leave any "fingerprints"
on the system. -
When I edit a song in itunes (i.e change the year) on purchased songs, the next time I return to itunes, the information has reverted back to the original information. How can I change that?
When I purchase ITunes music, and it is a song from a Greatest Hits album, the Year of the song shows the year the CD was released and not the year the song was released (i.e. a song may be from 1986, but the Greatest Hits album was released in 1999, so my songs in ITunes show 1999). So, I go into each of those songs and change it to the year that I want to be displayed. As long as I don't exit out of ITunes, it will show the year that I changed it to (i.e. the 1986 year in this case). But if I exit out of ITunes and then return to ITunes, the year reverts back to 1999. The same happens if I change the genre of a song from, say 'Pop' to 'Alternative', it will revert back the next time I log in.
Oddly enough, as soon as I right-click on that song to change it back, the year/genre that I had entered returns.
How can I make it so my changes are permanently displayed as I want them? This is pretty annoying when I try to find a song on my Ipod under a certain genre, but it doesn't appear in that genre because the incorrect information gets synched to the Ipod.Make sure that these two options in Edit > Preferences > Store are turned off:

Your metadata entries should then be persistent - with these options checked iTunes will be comparing what you have with the information held in the iTunes Store, and will overwrite with the latter for Store purchases (and if you have iTunes Match). If you have any iOS devices you should also turn off Show All Music under Settings > Music. -

Also, you would never have to lose your warranty, you can reach out to our Regional Support Office and they can revert the software back (by you visiting an office, or mailing the phone in). -

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone. -

How do I replace someone else's Mac ID with my own?
Bought iPhone second hand on TradeMe.
Previous owner re-set the phone but his ICloud account stayed on now my phone. He uses his AppleID on his new iPhone now and, understandably, does not want to give me his password. Any ideas?? Please.
This issue is blocking my access to iTunes and any other file from my home computer. It keeps on telling me that I have to autorise my computer to pass on files, yet, it seems, for all this to happen, I need to get logged in through the phone's Apple ID. This of course is different to my one on my computer - and I have no password for it.
This phone is not stolen!! I payed still a fair bit for it. Am still in contact with the previous owner. He doesn't know how to fix the problem either.

Album art reverting back to previous?!?!?!

I've been updating and organizing my iTunes the last few weeks and I just today there is a certain lot of tracks that have all reverted back to the art work that was previously in there. Ive spent hours today updating all this music. All the updated data is fine bu the album art reverted back. UGH. I spent so much time on this. Anybody else experiencing this and have a fix?

GI can think of several minor scenarios where this might happen, or it looks like it is. I use an older (and I think better) iTunes so I can only reference to this. If I drag artwork to a file's display box and add the artwork to a file that already has it, the new one shows in the box. If I go to another file and return to the first, the old artwork appears in the box until I click the disclosure triangle. The first added appears by default. If I don't want the first I have to change the order in the get info window. An extension of this is the first track provides the artwork for the album. If I change the artwork in a later track it may only appear for that track.
I suppose if you are using any of the labeling and artwork services the Store has then something could be going on there. -
Indesign CS6 reverting back to previous save on document
Wonder if anyone can help? I am saving the artboard, then exporting to pdf and saving that document off. When returning from lunch the artboard and pdf have reverted back to the version from, say 9am, not the updated version from, say 11am.
Not sure why this is?
Cheers for any tips!Really strange. I was looking at the updated artwork printed off from before lunch and seeing the pdf and indd files both reverted back to a previous version for no reason whatsoever. No server or drive problems either. Weird. Thankfully the changes werent that intensive!

I got a prompt to upgrade, but the install mechanism just keeps looping, says connecting but nothing ever happens. Daily I get warnings to install, and each effort ends as above. Now some of the prompt boxes (such as "are you sure you want to delete...") appear in subdued/basic mode. I was going to simply revert back to the previous edition that worked, but can't find how to do that.
I am having an issue with the Software Update also. The window says, "It is strongly recommended that you apply this update for Firefox as soon as possible"....It won't let me see the information of this update. I click on it as it highlights but nothing happens. So when I do click next it starts to update but updates all day long. It is not right. I thought maybe a virus? Could somebody tell me what to do? It is constantly happening everyday. thank You!!

I've just purchased a used iPhone 4S. It's been formatted/restored, but when going through the setup it won't accept my Apple ID because it's still apparently registered to the previous owner. He's removed it from his devices on all fronts iCloud / iTunes etc.
Any reason why its still showing as registered under his ID? Or why it won't accpet mine?

The previous owner needs to follow these steps to turn off Find My iPhone on the device. It is currently Activation Locked:
