I don't remember those arrows in 10.6, only 10.7 & up!?
I have 10.6.8, as you do. To make your Safari full screen, make sure you have the left hand side of your safari page moved all the way to the left. Then move your cursor to the BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER of the safari page, and simply drag your page towards the lower right hand corner of the screen. NOTE: you will see a series of lines on the bottom right corner of the page, indicating where to place you cursor arrow.

Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:

Did you install new software or upgrade to newer versions? Which version of iPhoto are you using?
The "Save to iPhoto" feature has been missing for some iPhoto versions. I do not remember exactly when it vanished, but it is back with iPhoto 9,6 and MacOS X 10.10.2.
As a work-around - you can drag photo attacuments from your mail to the iPhoto icon in the Dock to save them to iPhoto.

Books are no longer supported with iPhoto '08 (a roughly six yeal old product) - you can purchase an iLife '09 DVD from someplace like Amazon or eBay and install it - iPhoto '09 is still supported this year

Unable to clear the drop down list of junk login ID's - I have a Mac OSX

When I go to sign into my yahoo ID, and I begin to type my e-mail account, a drop down list of junk log in ID's pop up. These are ID which I have entered my mistake in the pass. One of which is my password. I am unable to clear the drop down list of this junk log in ID's. I ask Yahoo how to do it and I was told that this problem is specific of my web browser. I need your help to clear that junk log in ID's. I have a Mac OSX, Version 10/4. Would you be able to explain simple what to do. This problem is annoying as every time I sign in that drop down list appear.

See if the Disk is issuing any S.M.A.R.T errors in Disk Utility...

Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
How much free RAM & free Disk space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
In the Memory tab of Activity Monitor, are there a lot of Pageouts?
Also...
One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts (Users & Groups in later OSX versions)>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed. Or an errant process eating up RAM.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...
