Hi I have an iphone 3G and need to know how to print off some of my text messages including the date and time. Does anyone know how I do this?

Many people seem to want this feature including myself....Sometimes. I can live without it but sometimes I find myself search for the specific time I sent a specific message and cannot find it.

An alternate utility you may want to look into is DigiDNA's Disk Aid. You install it on a computer, Mac or PC, connect you phone to it and are able to back up everything on the phone and have access to all the stuff in there. Not free but really worth every penny. Free if you work or study in higher ed.

As Ann said, it does depend on your phone. One third party app that works on many phones (especially older models, but not all phones) is BitPim ( http://www.bitpim.org/ ) but it can potentially harm/brick your phone if you don't know what you are doing - use it with caution. I have used it successfully to get texts and photos off an old flip phone that was deactivated and had no sd card.
Newer smartphones can download apps that will give you the ability to print out texts. -

the socalled timestamp is within the imports.. if you select a clip in iM and hit the key combo Apple-I, you can see recording time and date.
unfortunately, this info isn't delivered to any software. Bruce Gee (geethree.com, excellent plug-in maker) told us, there's no 'API' he could use for such a feature...

I'd like to save space for more sites on my bookmark bar so I'd like to take off the text on the bookmark bar and just leave the site Icon's...that way there will be much more space to add on more sites to my bookmark bar.
SImple open the bookmark properties and erase the name, to open the bookmark properties:

in iPhoto no matter the source of the photo you see the information about th ephoto by selecting the photo and showing info (the get info button may be in a different location depending on the version of iPhoto you have)

How can I print out stored text messages from an LG enV3?!
My mother is on my phone plan, she has a LG enV®3 and has some text messages stored on her phone she would like printed out. I was told by the in-store salesman that this was something I could do here online. But I have yet to find a link that is providing that service. I need them as soon as possible as she is finally looking to upgrade to a new phone, but I can't find this mysterious link. As you may know the LG enV®3 is not a smartphone so I cannot use a messaging app to remove the texts. If anyone has information or knows how I could do this you'd help me greatly.

How do I turn off Facebook text messages?

I really don't know where to ask this question, so I hope I'm posting it in the right location. I transitioned from the iPhone 3GS to the new iPhone 4S. On my older iPhone, I NEVER received text messages from Facebook (which is a good thing). However, now that I am using the 4S, I am constantly getting bombarded with text messages from Facebook. They are "notifications", ie, when someone posts to my wall or if someone responds to a comment that I made.
I don't know if this is something that is controlled from the Facebook web page (using Safari on my iMac), or if it is controlled from the Facebook app on my iPhone, or if it is controlled from "Settings" or "Notifications" on the iPhone. I have tried all of these places and turned everything off. All notifications for Facebook are in the "OFF" position. I am at my wit's end because this stupid thing is waking me up in the middle of the night with Facebook text messages.
If anyone can help me in finding out how to turn this feature off, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks!Okay, it has been a few hours and I have not had a single text message from Facebook. WHEW!!
It had to be your suggestion that fixed it. I don't know how I missed turning off that one notification, but I guess that's what did the trick. They have made this notification stuff a bit confusing, becasue there are multiple areas where you can go in and turn stuff on and offf, and you really can't tell what it is you're doing until it's too late.

How do I shut off the text message notification during calls so it does not ring in my ear?
It is extremely annoying to be on the phone and have a text come through with the volume in your ear and the vibration. Any fix to this?

I really need help finding out what time a website was visited that is in the browsers history. How can I get a complete browser history or set the iPhone to keep longer than a week. Is there a way to look back further than the dates shown? IOS there a app you can download that will keep track of safaris browser history and what time a site was accessed ? You can print off your text message number sent and received by accessing www.verizonwireles.com login with your user id and password. Once logged in select my bill click on usage details then click on messages it will pull up the numbers you can print them from there. If you are looking for the actual messages you will not be to view that information online you can only get that information court ordered subpoena.

How to automatically update date and time on Numbers spreadsheet
Would like to have printed version of Numbers spreadsheet reflect present date and time. I know how to do this in Excel, but can't figure out how to get there in Numbers.
Add the date and time to the Header or Footer in the Print Dialog via the Insert menu.
It is only semi-automatic, in that to update the date and time, you must either delete and reinsert the date and time, or you must open the token and update by clicking the Set to Today button.
