Plug the sync cable into the device and the computer. Not really that difficult.
To remove the passcode, do as the User's Guide says, restore the device.

You'll want to completely restore the device using iTunes.

Keep in mind, at this point anything you had on the iPad you did not backup to iCloud or your computer is most likely lost.

I havent touched my Iphone 4s in ages (about a month). I came back to it the other day. I forgot the password, so naturally it disabled it and is telling me to connect to iTunes. In the meantime, i had got a new computer and didnt back up the itunes files (because im an idiot). Take it to you nearest Apple Store and see what they have to say. You should back up you data before you go in but in your case you can not.

- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers

- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

If not successful, try DFU mode.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I did all the steps to restore my password when you have never synched to a computer before. I got to step 4 where my ipod told me to connect to itunes but itunes did not respond. what do I do now?
