I am also encountering this issue and I am running 10.7.4.

Alright so this buggged the sh1t out of me and gave me enough reason to figure it out. Although I don't know what causes the random MP3s not to work, you can simpley convert them into an AAC file through Itunes. Just highlight the song or songs in itunes, right click, and choose the option for "create AAC version". I'm on a MBP and have to redo permissions on the files in order to drop them on the blackberry via mass storage device.

My macbook pro 13" is less than a year old and I have no problem with speed and video until lately. Everytime I watch video it keeps on pausing for 40 to 50 secs. then play then repeats again. I tried to play the same video on my ipad and I have no problem. Can somebody have an answer to my problem?
If it is less than a year old it is still under warranty, get it serviced.

Pretty much what I asked in the question. Plugged the ipod back into the PC and it still works fine under Devices in itunes and all the songs re-appear here again. Havent been syncing with any different computers

I don't know what has happened. Could it be my computer, mouse, or ME?First try the standard troubleshooting steps of quitting the Camera app as described below then resetting your iPad.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal.
Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
I have a non intel G5 and would like to download i-tune songs that I have recently purchased. I have tried everything and can't find the downloads. Did this G5 just become obsolete with itunes? If not what is the problem?
You can do it with Leopard but it depends upon the iTunes version which you did not reveal. Also make sure you are looking in the right place for purchases.
Consider buying a backup drive so you do not need to do this again. If you are going to run old hardware and software you need to live differently because yes, at some time you will find your version of iTunes no longer works. You're lucky it still works with Leopard. As you can see, some versions still work with the iTunes Store but not for repeat downloading.

My iPod shuffle says that there are 9 songs on it, but it will only play two of them. What is the problem and how can this be fixed?
Does the iPod connect to other networks?
Does the iPod see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iPod connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I purchased a song from ITunes. The process was normal....I bought the song on and for my iPad; the site showed "downloading" and then "play". The song is showing up faded and inactive on my iPad. What is the problem?
Good question!
In my experience there is usually a problem with the download. If you paid for the song, I advise to NOT try the download again as this may charge your iTunes account/ Credit Card twice.
If it was free, what the heck, try to download it again.
OR
In the Music (orange) App if the song shows up USUALLY you can swipe left (like when you delete something) and delete the song and try to download again.
If none of this works, try contacting expresslane.apple.com
Start by clicking in the center column:
1. iTunes
2. iTune Store
3. Connecting & Downloading
4. Downloads from iTunes store incomplete or interrupted
5. Continue
6. Choose your support option (depending on time of day your options will include email, chat, call now, or schedule a callback)

If your account is disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page -
