My iPhone 5 will not stay charged it says it's 100% charged then 5 min later it says I have 30% battery life please help

Off-brand cables and chargers are often a source of problems with iOS devices...always use genuine Apple cables and chargers as they meet the specs for the device.
The best solution at this point would be to take the iPone, cable and charger to an Apple store genius bar and have all tested to see if there are faults in the components.

My Droid X will not hold a charge for more than 5 min. 1 phone call and the phone shuts down.

Thanks so much for your inquiry! There hasn't been a software update for the Droid X since 2/16/12.
I would like for you to put the device in Safe Mode http://bit.ly/OAXCYh and then check your email to see if it still turns off.
Safe Mode temporarily disables all applications that have been installed via the Android Market. Performing this troubleshooting step is necessary to determine whether a 3rd party application is the cause of an Operating System / Application issue.
I want you to try that to see if there is something else affecting why the phone battery goes low only when you check email.

Specifically:
Battery life seems short

Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Connect iPhone to iTunes and restore iPhone.
If the screen shows a low-battery image, the battery is low on power and needs to charge for up to ten minutes before you can use it.
When charging iPhone, make sure to leave it charging until it is fully charged. You'll know the battery is fully charged when the battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen looks like this .
Note: When charging using a computer, don't connect iPhone to a keyboard. Also, the computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode. If iPhone is connected to a computer that's not turned on or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPhone battery may drain.
Note: Charging with a FireWire-based power source is not supported, except on original iPhone.

MacBook Pro Battery: How can I protect my battery when not using computer for a long time period 3-months ?

In 2014, I am expecting to be out of the states for a long period of time which is over 3 months. I am not planning of bringing my MacBook Pro with me. As a result, what would be the correct procedure for the battery in order to preserve it in the best condition when I return back and use the battery normally.

I would also keep it with a friend/familymember you can trust to not take it out during that time and play frisbee with it to control humidity levels and temperature and access while unattended.

Why does my iPhone 6 not show up in my computer when it's plugged in with the USB cable?

I have an Iphone 6 for about one week now. I would like to view my photos and movies on my laptop (windows 7). But I can't view them because it doesn't show up as a portable device in my computer. When I plug it in I do hear the sound as if any USB would make.
Does anyone know what's going on? Am I doing something wrong?

I had the same problem on my Iphone 5. It drove me crazy. I tried reinstalling ITunes and my apple mobile device driver, but nothing solved the problem. I was able to detect my iphone in windows if I went to control panel, then programs and features, found apple mobile device, right click, then click repair. This would allow windows explorer to detect my iphone, but I had to do this every time and it also drove me crazy, After trying everything I could think of, I decided to try and uninstall a program called expresso media. I am not sure where it even came from, but walla, once I uninstalled it my iphone shows up in explorer and iTunes just like it should. Simple but frustrating. Good luck,

My iPhone 4 when locked or when unlocked when I receive an iMessage doesn't tell me what the person has said. When my phone receives a message it says 'message' underneath the persons name but not what they have said. Please help me?

Also enable Show in Lock Screen on that setting.
Also, Settings/General/Passcode Lock. Set the options.

Remove battery when not in use for a long time?

Hi, I went overseas and accidentally left my Macbook behind, but brought my charger along. My Macbook had very little battery power remaining when I left (less than 20%) and since I have the charger with me, nobody at home can help me charge my Macbook. I'll be away for quite a few weeks, should I get someone at home to remove the battery for me? Thanks.

Was the computer turned off or asleep? It won't hurt to have it taken off. Normally I wouldn't worry about it unless it was going to be a few more months.

Why does my iPhone 5c not show any wifi/internet when on wifi screen?

When I go to "Settings" and then go to "Wifi" it trys to load the available wifi connections, but it doesn't load anything. I went on a 3-day camp and there was no wifi, so, I put on airplane mode for most of the camp to play my games and then when I go to my cousin's house no wifi shows up. After that, I came home and no wifi showed up again. Then I searched up on how to fix it and I did everything that was listed, turn cellular data on and LTE on, reset network settings, and restore my iPhone to last backup, and nothing happened it still doesn't show up. No... FaceTime is permanently removed from devices sold in certain middle eastern countries. There is no way to install it regardless of where the device is being used.

Battery light stays on for a long time when putting to sleep

so in addition to the other problem that i have about standby on the x201, sometimes, very rarely, when i put the computer to sleep, the moon indicator will flash like normal and stay on after 3 or 4 flashes, but sometimes the battery indicator will stay on even after the moon light has come on. the battery indicator will go out a few seconds aftder the computer has gone to sleep. has this happened to anyone else? usually the battery indicator goes out as soon as the standby indicator is solidly lit.

I occasionally have the same issue. Only workaround I have found is to reawaken my thinkpad and put to sleep/hybernate again.
Sorry, not much of a solution to offer.

Why does the iPhone 3GS not show as a camera model in iPhoto

I noticed on the extended photo info in iPhoto, the new iPhone 3GS doesnt have a camera model for photos taken with the iPhone 3GS.

Problem Macbook Retina (13"): Battery shows 100%

I have a Macbook Pro Retina 13" (10.8.5), I've bought it about a year ago. Yesterday I was using my Macbook (Word, Safari), without a charger, and everything was pretty normal. When I started my Macbook this morning, I noticed something strange.
The battery sign shows 100% all the time (right corner, between Bluetooth sign and Airport sign), because I worked yesterday evening with it, it was supposed to be 67% or so. While the sign shows 100%, my hours are lowing down. Also the battery won't charge: The charger's colour is yellow instead of amber en it says "The battery is fully recharged.".
In "About My Mac" it says my battery isn't fully loaded, if I use the charger it says it's loading the battery. The only problem seems to be that the battery shows 100%, it blocks the computer to charge my battery or to see the correct 'life hours' of my battery.
I updated, restarted, shut down, ... But nothing helped. I also did a little search on the internet, but I didn't find a decent solution (I tried different things).
I don't know what the problem could be, less than 12 hours ago everything was working fine.
Can anyone help?
