my iphone 5 keeps eating chargers - i have gone through probably 10 or more i dont know if it is my that is mucking up or all of the chargers i have had, they were offical apple chargers but they still broke this is starting to get very expensive for me could you please help?
Why are you paying for new ones? The chargers and the cables are under warranty. Unless they are physically damaged, Apple will replace them.
What do you mean by "broke"? Are yo talking about the charger? Or about the cable? Are you unplugging the cable by pulling on the cable just anywhere? Or on the hard plactic part that plugs into the phone?
I have had no problems with either my cables or chargers, even the cable I keep shutting in a desk drawer.

The reason I found this problem is that I did a complete reset of my iPhone, so it reset all the content, through settings on the phone. That ended up deleting the ringtones I had. I tried searching up the same tones, however you can't "Install" already purchased stuff like you can in the AppStore.
I can't "iTunes wifi-sync" because you need to have connected at least once to the computer before you can wifi-sync, but because I reset my phone, it doesn't "remember" it once synced with my Mac cause I reset it.
I have gone through the "iTunes connectivity troubleshooting", nothing worked.

My iPhone charges fine with the USB-Wall outlet adapter, so its not the lightning connector or the USB connector on the other end of the cord.
All the USB ports on my Mac are functionning (working with other cords for printers, etc.), but still the iPhone persists not to be recognized in iTunes.
So I am guessing iTunes is the problem.
Any Help, Solutions, Suggestions, would be appreciated.

Connect old iPhone to computer and save the pictures on computer.
Connect new iPhone and sync the pictures to your new iPhone. -

Contact Apple Support or an Apple Store if you have one near you. Your battery needs to run through the diagnostic test. You can also try to put the device into Recovery mode as well and rsetore the iOS software, and set up the device as new. Follow this article on Recovery Mode:

If lint is the problem, take a clean dry toothbrush and carefully clean the iPhone charging port.

I'd try removing and then re-installing iTunes. An uninstall will not remove your music etc. That should re-install the usb drivers etc. I don't think you can separately delete and install the drivers.

I seem to be having the same problem on my brand new iPhone 4S. Everything was working fine on the phone until I updated to iOS 5.1.1, but now I no longer receive push notifications for the native Mail app, Instagram, or the Facebook app. I still seem to be receiving SMS texts and iMessages via push, but the aforementioned apps need to be opened before I can receive missed notifications (having them open in the background seems to make no difference).

i wiped my computer out yesterday and i want to keep the songs i have on my ipod and load more on there. how do i get the songs that are on my ipod back in my itunes library so i can keep those on my ipod and put more on it? I didnt purchase the music from itunes, they came from old cds i had and now dont have them anymore.

The music sync is how you got the music from the computer to the ipod in the first place.
You cannot sync it from the ipod to the computer as I explained in the previous post, unless it is itunes purchased music. -

Premiere elements 13 keeps asking me to connect to internet to register the product but my internet is fine. I have gone through the forum to get help (validation of internet, validation of the ability to access secure servers, the validity of the ceritificate....) but nothing is working for me. i have backed up my iphone 5 and have a 5s I want to set up from that backup file. I have gone through the process once, and when I next connect the new AND the old phone to the mac and open itunes, restore or create new phone comes up not synch?? Tried starting the whole process over once but same result. Seems not to recognise the phone and just synch as it should. Help?

I have an iPhone 5. It says I have 537 songs on it but every song shows the cloud icon. I have gone through every suggested step I've googled and deleted songs but settings still shows them. When it's plugged into my mac itunes shows it only has 42 songs.
