HT1476 why isn't charging icon shown while iphone is charging?

Why is my iPhone 4 taking so long to charge up and why is the green charging icon not shown when iPhone is locked. When unlocked, it shows regular battery icon.

I've tried plugging into outlets also known as a wall power socket, and using my computer, and using something called and introverter that plugs into the auxillary port in the car. Right now its on my computer, taken 10 minutes to go up 1%

I ran into a problem like this a while back - there's a quirk in the default setting of the "CDs and DVDs" preference panel for a blank disk. If this is a blank disk, open the preference panel and check that the settings are useful. Blank disks work much better for with with "Open Finder"; check the setting of the other choices there too.

Why isn't my computer recognizing my iphone when it's plugged in via USB cord?

I have tried using multiple USBs and, while they're charging my phone, it's not recognizing my iPhone on iTunes. My computer is making the noise that the phone was plugged in but then a message pops up on my iPhone asking me if I trust the computer I am using, either Trust or Don't Trust. When I press Trust, my computer makes the noise that the USB cord has been unplugged and my phone continues to charge. I really want to sync my iPhone up with my iTunes, but because of this, I am not able to. I would really appreciate some assistance.

I setup iCloud & configured it on my iphone 4S & ipad2 (both iOS5). Contacts & calendars both appear to be update fine on both but Mail & Notes doesn't.
I have enabled mail on the iphone but it is not appearing in my list of mail accounts but it does on iPad. Settings are identical.
I already have a push email on my iphone (work), am I only limited to one push email account?

Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars - iCloud is listed at the top, Mail is turned on.
Mail/Mailboxes - iCloud is not listed as a mailbox
Identical settings on iPad but it appears under mailboxes.
iCloud is set to Push email (under Advanced settings), along with my work email.

it started today. I tapped the app and it stayed blank. App Store works just fine, but iTunes refuses to load. I'm on full bars LTE and high speed wifi. The problem started tonight. I reset my phone and network settings. my account is up to date and in good standing. Is it an issue with the 6 Plus? How can I fix this?

If you are having an issue with iTunes not functioning as expected on your iPhone, and have already tried resetting your iPhone, the next step would be to back up any data that you have on the iPhone and then erase it and set up as a new device -

My Ipod touch isn't charging or showing the charging icon!!

My ipod touch isn't charging at all. It is not recognized by itunes. It isn't showing charging icon both in the screen and at the top. I tried different chargers, usb cables and all. What do I do?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
Since you did not say how long the battery lasts I am nut sure the battery is the problem.

What are you trying to do? If the movie is on your iPad, the cloud icon will not appear next to the movie. You will see the cloud icon next to the movie if you delete it from your iPad and then you can download it again. That is assuming that the movie is eligible for a free download as not every movie can be downloaded again for free.
This is a screenshot of the purchased tab in iTunes on my iPad. These movies are already on my iPad so there is no cloud icon next to them for another download.
What I don't understand is for what reason are you trying to access the movie? If you want to watch the movie, it is in the videos app. Maybe that is where I am missing the boat.

I assume that you mean the PhotoBooth app has gone missing.
Swipe from screen to screen to look for it.
Check Settings>General>Restrictions and make sure that you didn't restrict the camera app or something in the privacy settings with regard to photos.
You can also reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

A lot of computers, especially older ones (I don't know how old yours is), don't provide enough power through their USB ports in order to charge the iPad - it may still be charging, but at a low rate (it may charge quicker if the iPad's screen is off). If you want to charge it at a reasonable rate then the wall charger is better.

IPod Nano 6th charging icon disappears while still plugged in

My iPod's charging icon disappears while it's still plugged in to my PC, as soon as I "eject" the iPod from Windows. So, to be as clear as I can (sorry for the repitition if you got it the first time - I just like to be sure): even though I have selected (either from iTunes or just via Windows itself) to "eject" a.k.a. "safely remove" my iPod from my computer, it is still plugged in to the USB port. The "Connected" screen is replaced with the menu, which is normal, but what I'm asking about is this: the battery icon in the top-right corner appears as though I have unplugged the device completely; the "charging/fully charged" indicator that I usually see when it's physically connected is missing.
So, my question is, is this normal? Could it be a bug in the iPod, or perhaps a bug in Windows 7? More impiortantly (to me), does the absence of a charging indicator mean that the iPod is actually no longer charging, even though it's still plugged into a powered USB port it was charging from only a minute before? I know my iPod never used to do this...

yeah i noticed that although it shows 'charged', it restores a tiny bit of residual charge to the battery, maybe 5-10% after being plugged in for 3+ hours. mine happens always however.
i've sent it back to apple and am awaiting a replacement (6-7 working days apparently) under warranty. hopefully the new one wont have this problem.
