I am very happy to report that my server connection tech, which I called via landline, informed me to : 1. Open Tools 2. Scan down to Clear Recent History 3. Delete All. That was it! Unbelievable! Six hours of searching through the Windows catagories. I checked the results on an internet site, and viola! It was gone! Mozilla Firefox seems to remember the usernames and passwords irregardless of the option window that asks if you if want it to remember the user and password. I finally got in touch with my friend and he said he did not answer yes to the window, even though he was aware of it. No damage. I surely do appreciate everyones' concern in this, now what seems to be, a very simple solution. Cudos to Firefox! Thank-you! P.S. I now have to enter my information at the beginning of any password protected sites...no harm done! My friend is now condemned to the 'user account' site! lol...

vicckeyGSX, if you're referring to Apple's service by that name, is available only to employees of Apple-authorized service providers or self-servicing accounts. Unless you are employed by such an organization, you cannot access GSX. If you are employed by such an organization, they should set you up and give you the appropriate login information.

Please note, though, that certification does not in and of itself give you access to any of the Apple resouces for support organizations; diagnostic tools, parts ordering, etc. You again must be employed by an authorized Apple support provider before you can gain such access.

Am I do not know how to change my rescue email as it is wrong and in can not remember my answers to my security questions so I want to change them but I can't as I have the wrong rescue email anyone know how to change your rescue email
You won't be able to change it until you can answer 2 of your questions - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to update your rescue email address for potential future use. -
Did the lastest Apple update and now my Mac has gray screen with spinning gear and a status bar goes to half then turns computer off....help?

I have OSX, vers. 10.5.8. I want to use the Cloud, but I don't want Mountain Lion. Can I do that?
You cannot access iCloud with 10.6.8. If your computer supports it you could upgrade to Lion - you can obtain it by ringing the online Store at the number given at bottom left of this page. The requirements for Lion are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available space
If you don't want Mountain Lion you probably won't want Lion either (of the two Mountain Lion is probably preferable) but it's either that, or stick with 10.6.8 and no iCloud. -
My mother has an iPad and so do I. I have successfully sent photos and videos to her. She took a photo with her iPad and sent it to me. I receive her mail with the word, "attachment" and with the paper clip symbol - but there is never an attachment! No photo! How is this possible if she is doing the exact steps that I do when mailing photos? Is something locked? Thanks for help.
Scroll down to the bottom of the email. Is there a message there to download the rest of the email?
Quit Mail and try again. Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it jiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally. -
I have just updated my iPhone software to ios 5, it all seemed to go very smoothly until I was asked for my Apple ID.
I clearly have a working ID as I'm signed into this very website so it isn't a problem with that - but when I've attempted sign-in it has come up with "Error creating ds account: null"
I was going to skip this step but it pops up again saying that you need it for iTunes and I wasn't sure if I could sign into my ID at a later time or not, so I'm stuck on the Apple ID page!
Has anyone else had this issue or a solution?
Thank you!I've managed to sort it out now - I think my problem was to do with the Internet, as my connection wasn't working when I first tried to sign into apple ID. I did a step back and re-selected my Internet router, and it then seemed to work! Give this a go because it worked for me!

It's possible that the rights-holder has removed the album, and her other albums, from your country's store. Is the album available on other music download purchase sites that you have access to ? Or is the CD available ?

could someone help me?How does iCloud have anything to do with this, you have 2 email accounts, neither of them an iCloud account?
If you want to get Gmail on your iPhone add it to your iPhone. Same goes for Outlook. -
Recently I was forced to recreate my entire iTunes library. My computer shut down unexpectedly and when I restarted it, my iTunes library was gone from the iTunes software. After *finally* receiving some information from iTunes support about restoring the library (which meant I had to do exactly what I was afraid I would have to do--basically click-and-drag the entire contents from my hard drive back into the library), I wanted to update my iPod with the songs I'd added since the last updating. And this is where more trouble began.
When I plugged in my iPod to sync it with the library, I got a warning message informing me that the library currently on the iPod would be cleared during the syncing, because the iPod can only be associated with "one" library. Well, I did NOT want to do that because I wanted to retain the playcount and other information about the songs. I was also hoping to keep the playlists currently on the iPod.
So, my first instinct was to contact iTunes support. The only problem there was that going through the Support pages ended up with my needing to call Apple. I'd attempted that when I first lost the library and was told by the Support associate that ALL iTunes help and support must be done online. Ironic, huh? I can't get iTunes support online until I call Apple support to get a direct web address to take me to the express lane help pages. And, unfortunately, I made the mistake of uninstalling and reinstalling my AOL software and lost ALL of my e-mails with the iTunes support addresses in the process.
So basically, I need to know what to do here. Is there a way to keep the current iTunes library on my iPod and still syncing with the recreated library or do I just need to accept the loss of the library currently on my iPod? I may try to call Apple Support and get that iTunes online support address again but I'd really like to get this resolved more quickly. The last time that I called and then I got the iTunes online help address, it ended up taking 2 days to get that help.Hi. The two user tips both describe a sequence of steps that should get your library from the point where it threatens to wipe data from your device to where it is syncing normally, while recovering as much information as possible. It may still be necessary to wipe and reload the device but this should only take place once all the data that can be recovered has been recovered.
Doing step 1 of 8 and then complaining things aren't the way you want them to be yet strikes me as premature...
Since you appear to have all your media content, and we are discussing an iPod classic, not an iOS device, the main worries are already taken care of. What's left is ratings, playcounts, playlist membership and checked status. Since your device holds only part of your library at best you could only recover the missing data for the content that is on the device using third party tools.
Recreating the previous checked/unchecked status of every track in your library from where you are now may not be that easy. Syncing with selected playlists has many advantages, one of which would have been that you would have a named playlist that could have been retrieved by 3rd party software if you had used this method.
You haven't explained what caused your problem in the first place, but if you have a Previous iTunes Libraries folder holding old copies of your iTunes database (generated with each iTunes update) then it would be possible to restore the most recent of these and then update the library with any changes in your media folder.
BTW Apple doesn't offer free support for this kind of issue with iTunes.

Hi there, am glad am in the community today, my profile is that I have a toshiba satellite pro, which I've the model been clean from the machine so it's not easy for me to read it to get the drivers for it, the only way is that I check the model from the dxdiag and it gives me only the toshiba satellite pro L300 only without the rest of the numbers to it, I want to know how can I get the model number of my laptop so that I can load the correct drivers for it.

I don't believe the last Thunderbird update worked, there was a very fast error message. But since then I cannot open jpeg attachments in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. If I go to Tools, then options, the jpeg line is grayed out, and the drop down menu does not show Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. The windows picture and fax viewer still works on my computer, but not for opening attachments.
I did as you said - deleted the entry for jpeg, but when I tried to open one there is not an option for Picture and Fax Viewer in the drop down, and it can't be found by browsing. It's just not there anywhere even though I can see pics in it except in email attachments.

Hi, my ipod nano works perfectly well when connected to my laptop, but won't even switch on when it's stand alone. Battery is showing as fully charged. Anyone know if/how I can fix this? Thanks
Take the iPod N ano to your local Apple Store or an AASP to be examined.

Why is apple - the most innovative company that pioneered customer experience- not making it easier to find out if IPhone is locked or unlocked? it should be simple to find this status on the phone. I have to go thru so much trouble to find out if the phone is unlocked or not. There should be a much simpler solution to this.
call them, tell them you NEED a new battery installed, and they need to tell you when they can do it. That is their job to help you! Give pushback if necessary.
