So my friend brought me her ipad and I plugged it into my computer and opened itunes. I think i accidently clicked sync and now she cant see any of her old stuff. Now its basically a replica of my ipad. She had a lot of photos and apps that she doesnt want to loose and I dont know how to reset it or unsync it!! Please help me figure it out! You erased her content and replaced it with your content when you did this. She will have to sync with her own iTunes library on her computer now to restore all of her content. If she doesn't sync with iTunes, she can restore from and iCloud backup - if she backup with iCloud.
If she doesn't sync with iTunes or she doesn't have an iCloud backup, she is pretty much hosed. She will have to erase the device (in order to remove your content) and start all over again by downloading all of her content. She will not have to purchase the content again as long as she uses the same Apple ID that she bought the apps with, but all of her photos will be lost and unrecoverable now. -
My iPad does not have sound when on the Internet, including YouTube, but does have sound with iTunes and other apps. How can I correct this?
If you are sure that you have sound in other apps - and if you can still hear keyboard clicks and get notifications, then system sounds are not muted. Try this and see if it works.
Close all apps completely and reboot the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

When i try to sync my ipad with the itunes on my computer it gives me an error message. " The sync session failed to start. How can i fix this?? I had to uninstall itunes on my computer because of runtime error R6034.
The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

I have 3 iPhones and 3 iPod syncing without problems on one computer.
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
On your mum's iPhone go to Settings > General > About > Name - put in your mum's name so that iTunes can tell them apart. -

Are you running modified software on your phone? This error seems to be common if the firmware has been modified and you're trying to restore the phone again.
