When you do a sync iTunes will only transfer the music you have selected. So you want to make sure that you select every song to sync.

Sort of.Apps are locked to the account that purchased them. Use the same Apple IS you used before.
Restore from backup.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Hi I was organizing pictures in iphoto. I am new at this. I was deleting a bunch of duplicate pictures and I kept getting a 'warning box" that kept asking "are you sure you want to delete?" I knew I wanted to delete all these pics so I checked the box that said "check box if you dont want to see this warning." So checked the box. Now I want to get that warning box back. Any ideas? Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101. -

It doesn't quite work that way. Transfer your music from the old computer to the new one. Then, sync the iPod.

My ipod touch will not download latest version of itunes 11. Our pc is windows.
Itunes cannot find the device to sync because it all relates back to not being able to downloand the latest version of itunes.
We also have a shuffle and it works fine. We can use 2 devices for one Itunes account.
My daughter is 11 and she has never downloaded her ipod from our pc because of the download problem.iTunes 11 is for computers only, the built-in apps on an iPod (and iPad and iPhone) are part of iOS (i.e. its operating system) on them and can only be updated by updating the whole iOS version. Do you have iTunes 11 installed on your PC ? On iTunes on a PC I think that you can check if updates are available to it via the iTunes 'Help' menu, or you can download the current version of iTunes from here and then run/install it : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

I wanted to charge my iPod Touch 4G on my computer and i forgot that it automatically syncs which i didn't want it to. I cancelled the syn and when i checked my ipod it said the storage was almost full. I had 1.6GB before and it went to 46 MB?!? I just don't get it can someone help?

An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files. Usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

Same basic way as if you connect it to your syncing computer. However, you ned to restore to factory defaults/new iPod since there is not backup on the foreign computer.
