I have an iPad and have rent several movies from iTunes, I have just bought apple tv, why can't I watch my rented movies on the tv, my home share is activated ? Have I just wasted £99 ?

Yes, start the movie on your iPad and tap on the AirPlay icon and chose AppleTV from the list.
You can't "transfert" your rental to your AppleTV but you can stream it using AirPlay.

Can you delete videos from itunes? it's just stupid if you can't.
why can't you just right click "clear?" you can copy, but you can't delete them? that's just stupid. i didn't even buy them from the itunes store, i got them from some website. they won't play on my ipod so I really don't need them in itunes....thanks for whatever help you can give me. i already deleted them from my hard-drive but they still show up in itunes for some dumb reason.......

Hi I've pulled my sticker off my itunes redeem code and I'm wanting to know hw I can retrieve my money or atleast have it transferred into my itunes account , and I've tried apple support it's not helping at all
If you haven't remove the code from the card then you should be able to redeem it onto your account e.g. via the Redeem button under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes, or via the bottom of the Music tab if using an iOS device

I read that I may need to start the movie prior to departure so that it can connect via wifi (or whatever internet connection I use) and start the 24-hr "timer" for rented movies. So,.. no truth to that? More specifically, I can start a rented movie on iTunes, while on a plane, without an internet connection?

You have 30 days from the time of rental to watch your movie, and 24 hours (in the US) or 48 hours (elsewhere) after you've started viewing to finish it. Once the rental period expires, the movie will disappear from your iTunes library. Happy movie watching!

i have rented a couple of movies for my daughter to watch on the plane, but i cannot view them unless it's through the itunes app on my phone. I cannot use any apps without service and i don't get any service in the air without wi-fi. Is there another way i can watch them or have i missed or skipped a step in syncing the movies to my iphone from itunes???

I have a Macbook pro mid 2011 and just bought the Apple TV. While watching program or movie from any of the apps such as Watch ABC, the program keeps stopping and starting constantly.
That would indicate a network issue.
Reboot ATV and router
Make sure DNS is set to auto
Ensure router is up to date, if on wifi try ethernet
Go to istumbler.net to get a report of the network, look for signal strength and noise -
I have just bought apple tv which allows me to play music through airport express but when chose to watch a movie the audio comes from the tv and does not give option listen through other speakers served through airport express. Can you help me ?
No, you cannot seperate the audio and video stream.
You can use optical audio to a sound system (I use sony sound bar) and play the audio via that.

I forgot the password on my iPad; I have it backed up on my Mac, so I saw that I just should back up from iTunes. I tried to do that, but it says to first turn off "Find my iPad", which obviously I cannot do because I don't have my password!! Help!
