My accounts have been compromised. Shady husband doing shady things causing password problems. Please help me to create only one ID to use my iPhone4S

apple will not merge your accounts.... you will need to pick one and use it and change password..if you can't pick one then just make a whole new account and just let the others float away into the apple space.. but take out the credit card info so that shady husband can't use it... you can google "manage my apple id" and it will let you log in and change stuff.

What two countries are you living in? Are certain apps you have downloaded in one country not available in the other? The only solution I can see is to start new with a new apple ID or you can use one of e two you currently have. What do you mean "And now to boot I am unable to buy anymore apps as I appear to always be on the wrong country." This could be a problem with the firmware in which a restore may be necessary. I have an iphone 4 and have just installed the new ios. so my apple id for "icloud" is my email with gmail, but i can't remember my password for that apple id. I have requested it to be reset but it hasn't emailed me anything to reset it. It says to check one of my old email accounts (school email address), but when i check it I don't have any new emails from apple there either...? My itunes apple id on my phone (different apple id) does work and that is the one i'm using to post this request for help. I can't even delete the apple id that my phone says is my "icloud" apple id because that also requires that i know the password for id that i didn't even set up (gmail email address). i did link my gmail email address to my apple id a while back, but now it has come back to haunt me. anyone know anything about how to consolidate these id's and make just one? i need help! i can't use icloud at all until this is resolved... thanks for any help that you can provide!

It sounds like you may need to go into Mail>Preferences>Accounts and Complete setting up you Gmail account. It may not be finished being setup. For instance, note the line below to be selected from the drop down list in "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP", then "Edit SMTP Server List":

If you both have the same email account, there's no setting on iPad you can use. When a message is deleted, it's deleted from the mail account server, which will happen on both devices.

After calling AT&T tech support one more time, and explaining to them that the glitch was on their network, they admitted that the problem was at their tower...
I continued to use the phone on EDGE mode for two more days until the problem was fixed.
I even got a call back from a tech support guy asking me if my phone was working properly....
I wish they would have admitted to the problem before I sat at the apple store for 2 hours.

Im not sure wether I got you right or not. But my advice/s would be as follows:
These steps help you get rid of old apps you downloaded years ago and you do not use anymore.(Also frees space on your mac after emptying the trash)
1) go to iTunes and delete all applications in it. Make sure to move them to trash! Do not empty your trash yet. Its your backup if step 3 doesnt appear.
2) connect both your devices(one after each other) and make a backup. !!!Dont press the Sync button, press the Back Up Now Button
3) Then it asks you if you want to backup applications as well. Confirm. (This is how apps get transferred manually)
4) Then Sync your devices... The first time it might be, that there are some additional apps loaded to your devices you dont want to.. delete them on your Device (not iTunes) and after that you should be good every time you sync again.
5) now you can empty your trash on your mac.
Further,
- You should regularly connect your devices with iTunes to make sure they are backed up. (Even if you have activated iCloud backup, the iTunes backup is more proper i.e.. Apps)
- If you hate scrolling through a list of apps in iTunes, you can re/install apps directly on iOS not via iTunes. I absolutely never go to the "Applications" section in iTunes. I install and delete apps directly on iOS.

If you wish to use home sharing then you need to setup the Apple TV under your ID.

I would like to back up and restore 4 different iPhones, 1 iPad, a MacBook and 1 MacBook Pro using the same single iCloud account.

Sharing an iCloud account between two devices can be done without causing issues with iMessage and FaceTime, just go into Settings for each of these functions and designate separate points of contact (i.e. phone number only, or phone number and unique email address). While that works, you'll then face the problem where a phone call to one iPhone will ring both if on the same Wi-Fi network -- but again, that can be avoided by changing each phone's settings.
Rather than do all that, don't fight it -- use separate IDs for iCloud. You can still use a common ID for iTunes purchases (the ID for purchases and iCloud do not have to be the same) or you can use Family Sharing to share purchases from a primary Apple account.

I'd suggest you consider a cloud-based file sharing service such as Dropbox for this sort of use. iOS is not designed to be synched with more than one iTunes library at a time, so attempting to use it as you describe, connecting a single iPad to multiple computers, almost certainly won't work as you intend and is likely to cause nothing but headaches.
