MobileMe has been discontinued. If iDisk is no longer available at this point, then anything you had on your iDisk is gone. This should come as no surprise, as Apple has been emailing MobileMe members about what's happening and when. You had adequate warning that your iDisk contents were going to be lost.
You may wish to try accessing e iDisk via the Go menu in the Finder. Apple left the iDisks available for a few days after the deadline, but for all I know they may be gone now.

Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one. Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.

An icloud account is designed to be used by just one user. If you have given your ID or set up your account on someone else's device, then their data will be mingled with your or worse.

I uploaded 140 pics from my camera's card, but I can't seem to find them in Finder. Have they gone to iCloud, and how do I stop any future uploads going to iCloud?.

I'm concerned mainly with wondering where thy have gone, as I can't find them in Pictures in Finder, but also with thr possibility of going over my free iCloud storage limit of 5Gb. You have Jailbroken your device. Apple does not support Jailbreaking and as such having done so has voided your warranty and forfeited any support from Apple and by extension these forums. We are not allowed to discuss Jailbroken devices in any way by the Terms of Service of the forum.
You will have to find help elsewhere. Ask the person that installed Cydia to restore the phone.

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, provide /Users/ as the path, and move the files to your current home folder. Alternatively, open the Accounts or Users & Groups pane of System Preferences, unlock it, control-click your account, choose Advanced Options, and change the path to the home folder.

I need to check a few other things...
Click on 'Mail' in the upper left corner next to the Apple ()
Click Preferences
Click the 'Accounts' tab
Make sure your iCloud account is highlighted in the column on the left.
In the account information section what does it say next to:
Incoming Mail Server?
Outgoing Mail Server?
Also, did you use MobileMe before the iCloud?

Phone stolen and gone from icloud

My sons phone has been stolen - went onto his icloud to show as lost and place pin on phone so it cant be used - iPhone gone from icloud!! Does that mean it has been wiped?

I am sorry to hear about your son’s iPhone being stolen. It is a very disturbing experience to have something so personal taken from you.
If the iPhone is not showing in Find My iPhone, there are several possibilities, including the one that you mention - it may have been wiped. It also may merely be turned off presently, it also may not be connected to any wifi network.

Hmmmm...maybe try deleting them again (I know it's a pain) and then doing a manual icloud backup (unless you already did this). Icloud may be putting them back on there. I never allowed FB to put the contacts on my phone lol. Also try going into Privacy and Contacts...make sure FB isn't on in there. Might be a few other spots to check under settings to make sure too. And...you might want to try deleting the FB app, do a icloud backup, and then reinstall FB

non of them it works with the appleID so if the thief restore the device so your appleID is not longer used you can't whipe or block it from icloud
anything else would put apple in big trouble with the law in most countries

I upgraded my Iphone 4 today to the new ios everything was successful except all of my apps do not work, I have rebooted, resyced, etc all day long. First when I upgraded my apps were completely gone and I had to retreive them from icloud..but dont work..

When I try to open my apps they act like theyre loading for a second then stop. Ive still restarted my phone and resynced multiple times. Main apps work that come with the phone though.

I just did what you suggested and it worked. The Test Contact showed up. So, I deleted the contact I added today and readded it and it showed up almost immediately into iCloud.com.
Perhaps there was something wonky with the previous contact. Any ideas? It seems to be working well now. Thank you for your help.

IOS 7 put all my downloaded tv shows in disarray. Half of them have now gone to iCloud heaven (which ***), and I cannot watch a whole series anymore. Help!

anyone know why iOS 7 placed all my tv shows out of episode order? How does one put them back in order? Before I could just select the tv show and watch my episodes without having to select and press play for each episode... Oh!....and how can I stop my video and audio content from being uploaded to iCloud. Not all of us are made of money and can afford unlimited wifi to continually download content that should just remain on my device. Sorry guys... only way I found to fix it it is selecting each episode 1 at a time in order and syncing after each one.
Season 1 episode 1
sync
Season 1 episode 2
sync
etc.

Edit. Actually seams to work if you select each individual episode in the order you want sync'd and then sync.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Without a backup, you will not be able to recover deleted contacts. You need to set up a separate iCloud account for your daughter, so you can keep your mail, contacts, calendars etc separate.
