HT1535 Adding videos to iPhone 4s

Question

Ever since the last update from itunes I have not been able to manually add videos to my iphone. I can manually add anything and everything except movies/videos. Is there a reason for this? and does anyone know if apple is working on a fix for this? I have even gone as far as deauthorizing all computers on my account and only allowing my main computer to be authorized to add anything, and still nothing works.

The help article you are quoting is quite outdated. 11.0.1.12 is the newest version of iTunes and the article you are quoting is for an older version.
There are two ways to move individual songs to your ipod or iphone using 11.0.1.12, the easiest way is to click the song, and drag it towards the right of the screen. A column should pop up (on the right side of the screen) which says devices. Your ipod or iphone should be at the top. You drag the song over to the device you want, and drop it onto the device's title. Or if you want the song to be in a specific playlist, you hover over the title, and it will expand showing the existing playlists on the device. You can then drop the song into a playlist directly. This method of moving songs will work for individual songs, or you can select several songs at once (by selecting one song, holding the control button on your keyboard, and selecting more songs) and add them the same way by dragging them to the devices column. (The column will not show up until you select a song a drag it to the right).
The second way to add songs to a device is this: click the song, to the right of the title of the song you should see a round arrow. Click the arrow, it will show a menu. Near the middle of the menu is a button which says "add to". Click this option, your device will be in this window and you can simply click the device's name to add the song. (This method will only work with individual songs)
