Tick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
If it's not there, log out of iTunes store then log back in.
Now slect Movies.
You should see a cloud icon next to iTunes purcahses that are not on yrou computer.
Click to download (or you can simply click Play to stream & not download).

I was having the same problem with a card that I received as a gift. Finally, I realized that it's an APPLE gift card and not an iTunes gift card. They are different and one will not work for another. The Apple card is used for hardware, software, cases, headphones, etc that you can buy in store or online. The iTunes card can only be used for music, apps, videos purchased through iTunes.
But as long as it is in fact an iTunes card, the only other thing I've read about it not activating is to wait a few days and try it again. Sometimes it takes a while for the store where it was purchased from to send the activation info to Apple and read it as a valid code. I guess it doesn't happen instantaneously when scanned at the store.

If they are available in your country then you might be able to buy them Apple, electrical stores, supermarkets etc - but gift cards are not currently available in all countries, and they are country-specific i.e. they can only be used in their country of issue

How do you redeem a code for a free app that says 'managed licence' using vpp?

I wiork in a school and have recently taken over syncing and managing apps for the wider school. I am having difficulty redeeming a code for the purchased free apps. I need this, so that I can add it it the download folder, as you would for a paid app. Then i will be able to see it in the list of purchased apps to select and update the iPads from.

It sounds like you are using Apple Configurator to install apps on your iPads. For a free app, you can simply download it with iTunes and import the .ipa file into Apple Configurator. For VPP "Managed Distribution" licenses, you need to use an MDM solution to distribute apps.

There are a couple things that I would recommend trying. Try closing all open applications and power cycle the device. Next, go through the section labeled Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in the second article below. If the issue persists, try completely signing out of the iTunes Store on the iOS device and sign back in. Be sure to test downloading an application after each step.

How can I write a code that triggers when clicking on Save button

I want to hide certain fields inside my tracking list, if the login user is not part of the “Managers” group.
To do so I want to add the following Page-load code inside a web part :-

I have a Retina Macbook Pro, but iTunes is asking me to insert a disc. Well, I can't. Why has Apple not fixed this. I want to enter my code and get my movie.

I know that this isn't a real solution for your computer, but the digital copy is tied to your Apple ID. So if you have another Mac, you can redeem it on that Mac, then download the movie to your Retina MBP (Movies in the Cloud FTW).
If you don't own another Mac yourself, find a friend's computer, log out of his iTunes (or make a new user account), log into your Apple ID within iTunes, Authorize iTunes, then insert the DVD and redeem it. I redeemed Skyfall & Frankenweenie from an iMac at work just to see if it works, which it does. Heck, I don't think they even need a Mac, a PC running iTunes should work!

Some of the user have authorization to particular t-codes. However single roles are not created for them.
Now I need to assign authorization to that particular t-code to a new employee.
Since the single role is not there, I do not know how to find if it is inside a composite role.
Which table should I find all the t-codes that are assigned to a single role / composite role?

Beware of AGR_TCODES, it only reports transactions entered into the role menu. If you query table AGR_1251 filtered on object S_TCODE you get the actual transaction authorizations.

If the redemption comes only on a disk, then you will have to get access to a DVD drive, either by borrowing or purchasing one, or by using the Remote Disk feature if you have another computer available that does have a DVD drive.

How to check in VB code that PXI-system is on and all cards are working.

My system: Chassis 1010 with MXI8330, 4 x SCXI1129, 2 x PXI2565, 2 x PXI6508 and PXI4021.
Problem: I'm trying to write section of code with Visual Basic which initializes PXI cards and gives information about system(Is it on? What kind of PXI or SCXI cards do I have in my chassis? Are they working?) but I don't know what functions I should call.

Our PXI chassis are not "smart chassis" that have status registers that can give you information like whether or not the chassis is on, but you should be able to pull some information from the cards themselves. This will vary from card to card, and from driver to driver. I would recommend starting with the programmer's reference manuals for the drivers (NI-DAQ, NI-VISA, etc.) and the user manuals for the cards. If the cards do respond, you can infer then that the chassis is on.
