I bought The Dark Knight a few years ago, I tried to download the digital copy before but I gave up. Now that I have my iPhone, I'm determined to get all the digital copies I'm entitled to! So I'm here to find out how to remedy the situation. iTunes says the code is invalid when it clearly should work. I didn't buy the DVD off the street or anything. iTunes doesn't give me any further options, so what can I do? Anybody have any advice, please?

Yeah, I actually did get it. I had to send an e-mail to Warner Bros. with all available info and my issue and they sent me another code that actually worked.
So I actually just had to do what varjak paw suggested, it just took a few days (maybe a week) and I forgot to get back to you guys. So, belated but all the same thank you, varjak paw!

Why do you need the serial number? The phone can't be tracked by either serial number or IMEI.

My daughter received some iTunes vouchers for Christmas, she has been able to redeem one of them but the other one keeps saying the number is invalid every time she enters the number. We have double checked that we are entering the number correctly. Any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks

Was the iTunes card issued in the same country as your account is based (they are only valid in their country of issue) ? TS1424 I tried downloading a new song by Josh Turner, "Time is Love". However, when trying to download Itunes gave an almost automatic response saying the file has been corrupted and there is basically nothing to download. How do I get my song?

You pay 1.29 for a song and you should get it. Itunes says the download is corrupted and check with the itunes store for available downloads to redownload my song. Nothing happens and the song I already purchased is not yet available to me.

To post a screen shot, you first take it, them upload it. To take them, I use and recommend Skitch -- one of the best little apps ever. But this ability is built into OS X. Use Grab or Preview (search OS X Help for full directions). In Preview, use "File→Take screen shot ... →From selection ... ". Save the file in Preview to your drive. If you really want your contact back and you did not do another iCloud backap since you deleted some of your contacts, you can do a hard reboot on both devices with iClouded contacts by holding down the home and lock buttons on each of them for 10 seconds ignoring the slide to turn off thing. Make sure you have iCloud contact services off before doing so. You can then go through the whole set up process until you get up to the backup part. You then press to restore from an iCloud backup (make sure you choose the right backup for the right phone). If you didn't make an iCloud backup before the contact incident, you will have to use your two-month-old iTunes backups. Each phone should have their contacts the way they were from your last backup. You then go into Settings>iCloud>and turn off contacts. You then can choose if you want to keep your current contacts or not. Turn this off on both phones just incase you add another iCloud device to the mix later on. Now your contact lists are no longer linked (Caution: side effect may include lack of edit button). You may now add and delete contacts as you please without it happening on your other phone.

HT1918 I keep entering my CORRECT security code and it is saying the code is invalid. It has worked for other billing accounts though.

I was hoping I could get some help as to why it keeps telling me my security code is incorrect for my new credit card. It is not incorrect as i have used this same code for paypal and other billing accounts. It's only itunes thats doing this.

For some reason Apple is particularly nitpicky about the billing address. The message you get is misleading since it can indicate any discrepancy in your billing information - a single space or punctuation out of place can cause it.
Go to your account in the iTunes Store and edit your credit card information. Retype it if in doubt. Make sure it matches your billing information precisely.

Itunes says it encounters a problem when trying to open. What do I do?

Whenever I try to open itunes it says that it has encountered a problem and needs to close. It gives me the options to send an error report, don't send, and debug. Itunes was working fine earlier but it froze and now I can't open it again. My operating system is windows XP (Yes an old computer). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes several times and double checked that all atachments of itunes were deleted before restarting my computer to reinstall itunes both times. Generate another of those error messages and click the "Click here" link in the error message box. What modname and modver are showing for the error? (Precise spelling please.)
If the error is a BEX and thus doesn't show an modname or modver, let us know what P1 through P9 items are showing for you instead.

which is dynamically created by a website I host. This was never a problem in the past - iTunes always accepted submissions without complaint. In fact, there are a number of podcasts created by this site already on iTunes!
When I open it directly in iTunes ('Subscribe to a podcast'), it works like a charm.
It also validated perfectly via feedvalidator.org. Does anyone have any ideas what I could missing here?

Got it (I think/hope)!!! Each one of your items has <itunes:block>yes</itunes:block> which means that iTunes won't see it (see http://www.feedforall.com/itune-tutorial-tags.htm#block). Either take it out or change it to no in the original feed, and see what happens.
(I'd still advise not using periods in your file names - it might work with iTunes but other podcatchers may have a problem.)
