how do i transfer my movie to my iphone. its showing up on itunes but it wont show up when i want to put it on my phone

I FIGURED IT OUT. THANK FREAKING GOD!
This is what I did:
I went to control panel and unistalled iTunes completely, then I installed 10.6.3

It came up with an error saying that my library had beed used with a more updated verision, basically had to upgrade. I installed iTunes 10.7
After it had installed and iTunes was running I hooked up both my iPhone and my flash drive, I have more than 1 usb port I figure most computers do now, and by the time and date in the bottom right corner a small icon came up showing that I had devices hooked up. It showed both my iPhone (but did not know what it was) and my flash drive. If you right click on the iPhone it has the option to Troubleshoot it. I did it and my iPhone 5 now FINALLY SYNCS!
I'm sooo happy now.

the question is: does it play unter iTunes on your computer? If yes, then you have to convert the video in an iPad compatible format. You can do that within iTunes. Under iTunes click on the left side on "Movies" and find your video. Select it. Then find in the menu bar "Advanced" and the menu point "Create iPad or Apple TV version". Your computer will do the rest. When finished you should have two versions of the video, the original version and the new iPad version. Feel free to delete the original version, if you don't have any other need for it. The iPad version will play fine on your iPad.
If your original video doesn't play under iTunes, you have to convert it to a Quicktime format first. In this case, please give us more details on the format your original video is stored in.

This is correct. It will not show in finder. It is not an external storage device.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases. Open itunes connect ipod, do not sync, click File>Transfer Purchases

I notice you are looking for solutions other than restoring, the article does outline how you can use iCloud's Find My iPhone:
If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.

So i went to back up my iphone 4s, it needed to be updated. so i updated it, during the update something had occur and my iphone 4s screen says connect to itunes be it wont connect???? i tried so many things. When I installed the recent updates for Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac, my iCal calendar was wiped out, as was the calendar on my iPhone. I'd rather use iCal than Office and was attempting to phase Office out altogether. Now, all of my information is on the Office calendar but not iCal. The iCloud version of my iCal calendar is not up to date. In any event, I couldn't figure out how to send that info to the iCal on my mac or my phone. How can I sync my Office calendar info to iCal? If that's not possible, how can I get my Office calendar to sync with my iPhone? All of my sync services are set up in iTunes and on my phone. This happened to me once before and I spent hours on the phone with Apple and on the web trying to work it out. I NEED MY CALENDAR!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

The other concern I have is that Office 2011 requires an Intel-based Mac and you posted in the older iMac (pre-Intel or "PPC") forums. If you have an Intel-based iMac (Apple menu > About this Mac..." will say "Intel" if you do) then I think you'll get faster and more accurate ansers to other questiosn in the Apple forums for newer iMacs here:

Nothing has been deleted.
The Library folder is just hidden now. Hold down the Option key while clicking on Go in the Finder's menu and you'll see that you can open the Library folder.
Once opened, drag the folder to the Finder's sidebar, so that you open it more easily next time.

Edited Artist on Itunes but Ipod wont show it!!

Check this out... I got all my songs transferd from itues to my ipod and found out i had errors on my artists spellings and stuff liek that. So i go into Itunes and change all my artists names around so there all fancy schmanzy to fit into one artist catagory.... My ipod says its updated succesfully but i cant even find the songs ive changed in my "songs" folder... let alone the correct artists name... which only has one song... the song that was orginally spelled right... HELP ME!!!! I JUST bought it today!

I'm terribly sorry to waste space... I just deleted/changed the albums name to be the same and it showed the missing songs... THANKS TEAM IPOD!!

Delete the account, then provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you can't remember your password, or it is rejected when you try it, you'll have to do one of the following:
If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should then be able to turn off Find My iPhone with your password. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back and change your primary email address and iCloud ID back to the way it was. You will then be able to go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current ID and password to reconnect to your iCloud account.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to get them to reset the password for it so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. You will have to prove your identity to them in order to do so. Can anyone tell me how these get there? Can a website be posted even if it was never went to? What does the space amount mean? For example, 1.5 kb...is this quite a bit? Would it indicate someone has gone to a site multiple times?
I share my ipad with my teenage daughter and I'm trying to find out if she's lying to me. Obviously she's swearing that she has "no idea" how these got there and I'm trying to keep her safe (she's only 14).

Think of your PC and the 'temporary internet folder' where it keeps cached copies of web pages or elements off a web page for 'quicker display the next time you visit'. That's pretty much what that folder is. 1.5K is tiny. Probably just a basic page with some text on it. (you might be confusing 1.5K with 1.5 megabyte....megabyte is large...it's roughly 1000 kilobytes, so the 1.5K is a tiny file)
As far as I know, the only way info gets into that folder is if the browser has been to that site.
if you have a concern there are browsers out there, McGruff is one i've seen recommended, that allow some degree of parental control and supervision. That or you could passcode lock the iPad or enable the restrictions to turn off some parts of the device to have some control.

When you say tit only sees your music folder, are you saying it only sees your music folder or does it see other empty folders.

Seems like it's having either a RAM or Hard Drive issue. What happens if you reboot the Mac, open iMovie and then try to Share to iTunes again?

Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall for the network problem.
Also for the original problem try the following if Ana's suggestions does not work
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
