hi..i have sent itunes gift card (15 £) to my friend very old email account which he is not using for few years. he tried to open his email many times, but its not working. what shall i do now. can u please refund the money. pls help.

What does "it won't let me mean"? It's much more helpful if you actually tell us what is happening when you try to use the card.
Did you redeem the card properly in the App Store or in iTunes - at the bottom of the screen in the main tab of either app?

The money goes into you apple account, the account you sign intowtpith your apple ID
Sign in to the app store on your phone and buy the apps you want. You can also sign in from iTunes buy your apps then sync your phone using iTunes

HT5035 Redeemed $10 gift card. Then gifted $14.99 album to a friend and it charged my credit card the total and did not use the gift card balance!

The gift card was supposed to be charged first, then the 4.99 to my credit card. Now I have an unused $10 gift card, which I wanted to get rid of, and got charged $14.99. I want my money back and I want the gift card used instead.

It's not supposed to. Gifts will always be charged to the credit card; the gift card money is for your use and nobody else's. This includes the purchase of gift cards and certificates, and money used for an iTunes allowance.

Hi, I was told that the gift card money I had on iTunes would also work on the app store. I bought Final Cut Pro X but it did not use the existing funds I have on my account from those gift cards. Is there any way to still use that money or those cards for that purchase? The money has not been used and the cards have not been thrown away.

You need to redeem the cards so the credit is on your account before you buy anything that you wish to pay for with the cards.

Gift cards are country specific. You cannot use them in another country.

You cannot purchase a gift with a credit balance from an iTunes card. You'll need a valid credit card in your iTunes Store account to buy a gift.

You should have the ability to buy E-Gift Cards on BestBuy.com, which would be quite similar to a physical gift card, but in a digital version. You may check them out here. If you are an international customer, you would want to follow the instructions here for placing your order.

Sorry, but it's quite possible that you can't. If there's an Apple Store in the country to which you want to give the gift, you can call them ask ask if they'll accept a Canadian credit card for a gift card purchase to be shipped to an address in the relative's country. If they won't, then you'd have to find an independent reseller in that country that carries iTunes gift cards who could accept your credit card, and there may be none.
