Hi can someone help me retrieve a Itunes gift that I've send to an email that isnt working anymor?
Do the instructions on the HT1541 page that you posted from not let you resend the gift ? If the address that you sent it to exists and somebody has redeemed it then you might not be able to resend it. If you can't resend it then you could try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

No, they are only valid in your own country - so you can only send gift certificates (or gift actual content) to people whose account is based in the same country as your own.

Yes - gifts are sent to an email address not to the iTunes account, the email has a redemption code in it which the recipient then redeems. The recipient needs to be in the same country as yourself, he/she won't be able to redeem it if their account is in a different country's store.

HT2736 I'm trying to send an iTune gift card.
I'm trying to send an ITune gift card online for my nieces. I've done it successfully for the first one and the others won't work. The message tells me to contact the apple store support to complete the transaction. I've trying doing so however, due to being Christmas the call centre is not working.
I don't understand especially, as I can still make purchases, i.e. I've tested this. My card details are all OK so what could it be?
Is calling a call centre part of the process?
What's the process flow for purchasing a gift card? The detail on the support site does not provide any information on the reason's why one would need to contact support to complete the transaction so I really don't understand. Being Christmas and my niece's birthday I needed this to be done. If I had know I would not have relied on doing it online assuming it was done without needing to contact anyone.By doing exactly what it told you to do - contact itunes support

i had a problem sending an itunes gift, it charged ,my credit card rather than my itunes account, it need it reversed on the cc and debited on the itunes.
Gifts will be charged to your credit card - you can't use your acocunt's balance for gifting, you can only use your credit card.

I entered in a redemption code for an itunes gift card a month ago and it no longer is showing up on my account. Is there somewhere to look to locate where AND why I'm not getting the proper credit? The origianl gift card was thrown away after i entered the redemption code in.
You can pay for iTunes downloads by credit card, gift card or pre-paid card, you just have to have fill in your credit card information in your iTunes account. I can only purchase in the US app store however I live in the UAE, the problem is I bought an iTunes gift card quite while ago and to use that I had to have an Apple ID in the US app store, so I changed my region to the United States but now I have $0.76 in my account and it doesn't let me to change my region before using that amount of credit and there is no any app which costs $0.76 and I want to change back my region to the United Arab Emirates.

Are you just uninstalling ID, and leaving the rest of the suite in place? You don't need to deactivate to do that.
A suite license does not permit you to install individual components on many different machines so that different users have access to them, if that is what you are contemplating. -

I think I had a similar problem the other day. I purchased an app with a cc that had been canceled by my bank with out me knowing it had been. Once I realized the cc was no longet active I added an itunes giftcard thinking that would allow me to purchase items. Well everytime I tried to ourchase somrthing with the new gift card it kept telling me that I had no funds. So someone in the apple store told me that until the app purchase with the old expired cc cleared on that cc then i would not be able to use any other form of payment. So I had to call my bank and asked them to reactivate my old cc for a couple seconds while I repurchased the app with my bank on the phone. Once that purchae cleared then it allowed me to use apple gift cards. Sorry for long answer but I think this might help you.

my daughter has changed her phone from an iphone to a nokia but kept the same number but when i send her a message from my iphone it still comes up as an i messsage and she doesnt receive it can anybody tell me how to fix this please
She needs to remove that device from the iMessage database, or if she still has the phone, she can go into Settings, Messages and turn off iMessage. If she still has the phone, she just needs to put the SIM back in for a couple of minutes to turn that off.
If she does not have the phone any more, she will need to go to her Support Profile, if she registered the phone and delete the phone from the profile. -
I have always shared my apple ID & iTunes library with my daughter but now she is old enough to have her own. Is there a way to split my iTunes library with hers if she now has her own apple ID/library?

I followed all instructions to set up email and I am receiving fine but cannot send keep getting message stating username or password incorrect?
The sending of email is handled by the SMTP server. Go into Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Go to the account in question and check the SMTP server settings. In some places in the mail app, it says the username and password are optional. In actuality, it really isn't. If you cannot modify the settings and get it to work, then delete the account entirely and set it back up again, making sure to get the username and password correct in all areas.
