Is there a way to use my itunes credit to send a gift card to someone else. I have credit on my account and would like to gift some of it but cannot figure out how to use the credit to do so. It appears I can only send a gift by charging to my credit card.

You cannot use gift balance for gifts.

Select the Inbox folder to see emails.
click on first email to get focus.
Hold down 'Ctrl' key and press 'A' key
This will highlight /select all emails.
they will appear as conversations in the Message Pane
Clickon Delete.
when it has finished - you do have a lot of emails :)
Right click on Inbox and select 'compact' - this removes all marked as deleted emails.

After creating your table, Tap the Tab marked "+" and select "Form" - you will be asked which table to use. (You should get into the habit of naming your tables - if the table name isn't visible, select the table and tap the Styles (Brush) Menu > Table > Turn ON table Name, then double tap on the Table to edit it.)
Select the table you wish to to fill with a form and you will see a new form based on the header data.
The form will allow you to add one row at a time and when you get to the last row, there is an option at the bottom of the form to add a new row using the "+" button. At the top of the form is the row header which you can rename by double tapping.
You can also rename the form on the Tab by double tapping on the name.
Try it out.

Can't I get my old iTunes that I have purchased downloaded from Apple? I don't have the old computer anymore. Also, is there a number to call if I think I have more than one account and would like them to consolidate my accounts?

I have two problems:
1. I no longer have my old computer and want to download the iTunes I have purchased in previous years. Aren't they all in "the cloud?"
2. I think I have more than one account and would like to get them combined. Is there a good number or email to Apple that I could get that done?

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Have you failed to do this?

Make a new Apple ID for her.
Use it on her iPhone 4S for iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime.
Use your ID on her iPhone 4S for iTunes and App Stores.
Sign in with your Apple ID on iTunes Store (on iTunes app of her new computer)
Authorize her new computer with your Apple ID in iTunes (iTunes menu>Store>Authorize this Computer)
Check "Share my Library on my Local Network" in iTunes Preferences in your and her computer
Sign in Home Sharing of her iTunes with your Apple ID.
Copy all the Music she wants from the old computer to the new one. (Must be on the same network)
Copy all the apps she wants from the old computer to the new one. (Must be on the same network)
Export all playlist as xml files from the old computer to the new one.(right click on the playlist to export and "File>Library>Import Playlist to Import)
Sync her iPhone 4S with all content she wants from her new computer (all data from the old computer will be deleted)
Are you sharing Contacts or other data from iCloud?
Be careful or ask for help about moving from iCloud account to another one.

i found out how to do this finally!
1) set up google gmail account to forward your emails to (from the [email protected])
2) go to your gmail account
3) go to settings (cog in right hand corner)
4) go to 'accounts and import'
5) go to 'send mail as'
6) click 'Add another email address you own' - add your [email protected] address
7) google will send a verification email with code to that email address.
8) enter code
9) go back to gmail account >'send mail as' and select 'make default'
10) close mac 'mail' program and reopen it.
as long as you have gmail account selected as the primary account in MAIL - mail will now come throught as being sent from that [email protected] address!!

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase her ipod. Only if you back up manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect her ipod to her new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your device without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect her ipod for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

It's not currently possible to delete an account, all you can do is remove any personal info from and stop using it - but any content that you downloaded from iTunes with it will remain tied to that account, and only that account will be able to re-download its content, authorise its content on a new computer, and download updates to its apps.

I recently had to restore my computer and in the process of backing up my music library, half of my library from the letter 'm' onward was deleted.
I want to see if I could use the existing .itl file or .xml file that was automatically saved by iTunes in the iTunes folder previously (which I backed-up in my external drive) to view my past library.
I tried importing the library by going to File > Library > Import Playlist, but I got an error that said:
"Some of the songs in the "iTunes Music Library.xml" were not imported because they could not be found.
The .itl file was no help either in this case.
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO?

Like the Wallsaver app, but having a sound responsive visualizer as the wallpaper.
I am aware of the Soundstream screensaver but this is terrible, doesn't respond to the music properly and doesn't work with wallsaver.

Okay...
So you have a server and you know what port the server is listening on, correct? You are right, the server and client, if running on the same machine, cannot use the same port.
But the DatagramPacket you send has the address and port that it was sent from in it. So you have the server running on port 1530. You have the client start using port 1531 (or any port, even 0 is okay, it'll pick any port). Ideally, the server is going to look at the packet and send the response back to the address + port the packet came from. By calling getPort() on the DatagramPacket after you receive it, it'll tell you what port it on the sender's (client, in this case) side it came from. Then when the server creates the response packet, it should send to that port (from getPort()).
So a sample server code might do this:
DatagramSocket server = new DatagramSocket(1530);
DatagramPacket p = new DatagramPacket(); // empty packet
server.receive(p); // blocks til it gets a packet
// at this point, p is a packet received, so handle the data in it...

DatagramPacket response = new DatagramPacket(data, data.length, returnAddr, returnPort);Also, in 1.4+ you can use the SocketAddress object from the packet which basically is the InetAddress and port in one object.
If you know that the server will only send responses back to port 1530 of the client, then you just can't run them on the same machine.

I have two FormCentral accounts and would like to move a large number of my forms from one account to the other without having to recreate them. Is there an easy way to do this?

I do know that I can Export either the design Form OR the Responses then Import them into my other account but I don't see a way to export the entire Form WITH the Responses.
