HT1551 Apple TV and billing info

my Apple TV (1st generation) refuses to recognize my billing info on my computer...I have edited it (actually inserting the same info, as I have in the past) several times...the online help is useless in this regard...anybody have any ideas?...

I have had ATV for 6 months now and run it in AirPlay and through iTunes. I recently updated my iMac software and had the same problem. I restarted my iMac and the problem disappeared so maybe update your ATV and host system. Shut them both down/restart or reset and have another go. If it has been working fine previously then my theory is that generally the router and hardware are good enough to carry the system and it must be something you/we have done wrong. I am not a techno wizard so i hope this helps.

If you are just visiting Singapore, then leave the account as it is. If you have moved there, then view your account using the iTunes app on a Mac or PC and change the country/region to your current location and address. If you do not have a bank card, you can fund your account using iTunes gift cards if available in Singapore.

Itunes asking security and billing info

In NZ, on wifi, using a UK iTunes account. iTunes asking me all kinds of security and billing info n it's never done that before - usually just pwd. Is this normal and, more importantly, is it safe?? I'm definitely receiving the messages thru iTunes so should be ok i guess

possibly to verify age or perhaps the app has "add on" features that cost and they would need to know where to bill these to if you wanted them
I know you can store your billing details, even a credit card number, securely within your iTunes account to prevent you from getting this prompt for future apps

I have changed my Apple ID so that it would reflect my new email address. My Apple devices and icloud info do not display my new ID, even though I use the new one to log into iTunes, etc. How can I get this problem resolved so that I might feel confident

After changing my Apple ID I do not seem to be able to recognize it as my proper ID. It does work properly for an iTunes login and password, but, it is not displayed that way on my device when I look at my iCloud settings and other "system level" settings.
How do I correct this to be confident that I can use a feature, such as "Find My iPhone" and know that the functions and contact info is correct?

To change the iCloud ID on your device you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.

I am trying to find out about all my associated devices. I recently got a message that I had used my last device, and am not sure how this can be. The instructions for accessing the info via the iTunes account info page apparently were not shared with the programmers since there is no Manage Devices button or option as far as I can see. I was going to rant here about how badly Apple designed their "Apple Id" stuff, how they strongly distinguish between using your Apple Id at the online Apple Store vs. using it at the App Store (which you have to get to via iTunes ... quite ridiculous) ... but I won't. :-)

Remove the billing info first.
Change your address & country.

HT1551 Apple TV and iPad 2 very low resolution pictures - how to resolve please?

We've just bought Apple TV and it works fine with Netflix, with good resolution etc.
However resolution is really poor and blurred when using iPad 2.
What's more when iPad 2 is near the TV Netflix also goes low resolution and fuzzy. I've been having to turn the iPad off to get the Netflix resolution back again.
Is there a solution to this please?
One other quick question - I downloaded the Remote app and it seems to work, except I have a completely blank screen on the iPad (except for controls along top and bottom edges. Is this how it's supposed to be?

Is there a limit on the number of Apple IDs one can have under same name and billing info (with different email addresses)?

I want to set up MANY for my employees but control the billing as a perk. Is this even possible?
