HT1567 I bought an ipad recently and now it won't hook up to the itune and let me update and repair some of the programs or upload my photos on it? It is like it don't know it is connected to the usb port
I am wondering why my recently purchased ipad will not hook up to itunes or let me update or repair some of the programs or upload photos into my computor?
Try deleting and reinstalling iTunes. Sometimes the driver gets corrupted and needs to be reinstalled.
You can also go into the control panel, add/remove programs and delete the 'apple mobile device driver', then plug your iPad back in and see if that triggers the reinstall of the driver.
also if you're using a hub or extender, stop and plug the iPad directly into the computer.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

well i was listening to music on my iphone and then it just stopped and now it won't come back on. i tried resetting it alot and nothing i mean nothing comes on! i tried recharging too and nothing and tried connecting it to itunes and nothing! Help? what can i do?

I turned my iphone off when visiting the doctor's surgery and now it won't turn back on. It had 73% battery left and I have tried connecting it to my computer with USB but nothing happens. I have taken out and replaced the sim card too. Any suggestions
If wjosten's tip doesn't work try plugging it into a USB charger (not through your computer), wait about 30 seconds and it should come on. If it doesn't remove the cord from the phone and keep trying this. I've had this same issue and found a combination of the reset & charging cable tends to work. Sometimes it takes about 5 minutes for the phone to respond.

See if you can force the phone into recovery mode:
Try turning the phone off using the Sleep/Wake button, then the slide to power off. If you are unable to do that, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When your phone turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons. Then, leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. -
Just updated my AppleTV and now it won't Sign in to my iTunes Account
So, in Apple's infinite wisdom, they decided that I needed to upgrade my Apple TV (2) device.
Not only did it take bloody ages to do, it now won't let me sign into my iTunes Store account so I can't view any of my purchased items or buy new stuff!
The password is correct and the only error message that actually shows is "Could Not Sign In". That's it. The WiFi is connected and it appears to be working.
Anyone got any ideas as to how to solve this so I can actually give Apple more $$$?There seems to have been a store glitch preventing you logging in or buying things - it seems to be fixed - restart AppleTv and try again.

What can you do? Go shopping for a new iPad. Liquids and electronics do not mix. And, you already have a damaged screen. Replacement is your only option. You could take it to an authorized service center but I'm I think their evaluation, given what you told us, would be to replace the iPad. -
i updated my itunes, and now it won't play any of my music. i tried deleting it and reinstalling itunes, but it still is doing the same thing: whenever i click on a song, it looks like it's going to play (and my last.fm thing starts scrobbling it) but it just doesn't play the song, ever. it sits there, with the play button played. i am so frustrated with itunes, and i have no idea how to resolve this.

After I did a backup from iTunes I noticed 3 of my contacts were gone and then tried to restore from a old backup, worked once and now it won't again. Why is iTunes restore not working correctly?
I thought all my contacts were saved in iTunes, never had this problem before. Besides manually restoring them myself, is there any other way to retrive them?iCloud

I just updated my pages and now it won't load. This is on my iPad. The first version which has the latest version it can have 5.1 or something like that. I am trying to open a document and am worried that if I uninstall and reinstall I will lose all my documents
I just uninstalled it and am waiting for it to reinstall. I sincerely hope that I have not lost everything that I worked on so hard. Now that mobile me is gone, I have not been able to go between devices to transfer things. I was merely trying to take a document I had worked on and open it in pages, but it said my version was too old. When I updated, it wouldn't load. Now I cannot do anything. I hope that the reinstall fixes it without losing everything. Please advise!!! Yes, I am in panic mode.

I pretty much stated it in my question. I dropped my iPad and now it won't boot itself up. The apple symbol shows up, then the screen turns all black and weird looking with a strange green color at the bottom, and just turns off. It keeps doing this over and over. What happened and is there a way to fix it? I also tried connecting it to itunes and that doesn't seem to be working. It detects an ipad but can't seem to read anything else. It tells me to try and restore it but I can't. HELP!!!
Try this. It worked for a few users after a drop.
Turn the iPad over and give it a very HARD slap on the back. May take several slaps.

I have iphone 4 . I don't know how that happenned that the normal color on screen and all icons changed ( for example , normally green color phone icon became purple color ,) and photo pictures turned negative appearance ( ghost-like ) . Any idea how to fix this mishap ? Your help will be appreciated.

You can try two possible steps:-
1]Triple click the home button. You should get an accessibility menu.deselect the negative/black and white option.
2]Go to settings->General->accessibility->and deselect invert colours.
That should fix it
