How can I get films purchased from the iTunes store to work on my new iPod classic?
I have recently purchased a new iPod classic, everything works accept it will not play films. At first I thought it was a problem with the films I was trying to put on as they were from my computer; but after purchasing some films from iTunes it still keeps saying that they cannot be played on this device. Please help as I have spent money on films I otherwise cannot watch.

It sounds like you might be trying to sync HD videos to your iPod classic.
HD videos purchased from the iTunes Store are compatible with iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), Apple TV, and computers. You may need to download your purchased video from iTunes in the Cloud in a lower resolution for your device.

HT1689 How do I download magazines from the ITunes Store? It won't let me download.
When I try to download magazines, it tells me to contact support.
I sort of found a solution for mine.
If you look in iTunes in your iPhone Sync tab, there is a tab called "On This iPhone." The songs that would remove from my iPhone were listed here, but grayed-out. They also had a doted circle next to each in the left column. I thinks this indicates they are getting streamed from your iTunes Match account or from the iTunes Store. So, I turned on iTunes Match and then clicked the download cloud next to each in my iTunes song list on my iPhone. Once these were all downloaded, I was able to swipe left and delete each with the red button. A word of caution and why I say this is "sort of a solution." They still appeared in my iPhone Sync "On This iPhone" tab as before. I was able to delete these from there by selecting and then applying "Manually manage music and videos," and then deleting each one in the "On This iPhone" list. BUT they would reappear when I did a sync with "Sync Music" unchecked. Don't know what the deal is now. -

I downloaded a song that I purchased from the ITunes store, but the song does not play properly. How can I re-download the same song without having to purchase it a second time?
I could not find an option to "report a problem".
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.) -
Having a bad day my iTunes library got corrupted and my back up disk has failed how can I restore my purchases from the iTunes store? When I try it tells me the pruchases have already been downloaded to this computer.
Does your purchased rmusic appears under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) ? If they do and you don't have the cloud symbol against them so as to re-download them, then do you still have the entries for them in your library i.e. where you would normally click on them to play them ? If you do then try deleting them from there (iTunes will be seeing them and assuming that you still have them somewhere) and they should then get the cloud symbol for re-downloading in the Purchased link.
If you aren't in a country where music can be re-downloaded then you could try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, -

Apps that are written for the Mac OS cannot be used on iOS devices, such as the iPad. You can purchase the iOS versions of some of these apps in the iTunes App Store.

You copy them from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.

I gifted a ringtone to my sister that I purchased from the iTunes store, and it is on her phone, but we can't figure out how to get it moved to her ringtones. Can anyone help?
Edit > Preferences. Select the check box for Ringtones, this will add them to the listing in iTunes.

I have somewhat of a similar problem. After iTunes last update, I am missing some of my purchased files of music,ringtones, and TV shows. Possibly movies, but just thought of that and did not look yet. Seems everytime there is an iTunes update, something happens, but usually an easy fix by just deleting music files from CD's that I loaded onto iTunes and no longer recognized after an update and reload from the hard drive. This time I do not have a current back up of all the music, ringtones, and tv shows I have purchased.
So I am also wondering how can I redownload purchases without being charged when there is no file left on the hard drive. It just stays listed in iTunes though. -

My problem mainly concerns cover art.
There have been times when I downloaded albums from the iTunes store to find its cover art it is absolutely beautiful, and is absolutely 100% un stretched. Whereas when I have gotten images for a specific album from Google Images it's terribly pixelated and totally disgusting.
Is there a way for me to obtain cover art for my albums that is has clarity equal to the cover art on the iTunes store albums.
Or will it basically boil down to I can only get that cover art by downloading my albums off the store?robcharlus wrote:

They should you if you do the roll back properly... Opening files from the Previous iTunes Libraries folder in Windows Explorer simply opens the current library. If you don't see the .itl file extension then don't give your copied and renamed file the extention or iTunes will create an empty library rather than using the renamed file.
If you had a complete pre-problem backup of your library you could restore that. On the assumption that isn't possible I have a script called ExportImport that could in principle be adjusted to save the relevant data from a backup of the library database and then reimport that data into the current library. See this thread for details.
