Hi, I was working at home with my iPad, everything was going well. It went out battery and after this I am unable to connect to the wifi at home. Before getting out battery no problem, and now it sees the router signal but it is unable to connect to it.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

I recently update my iphone 5 and had lots of problems. Apple support helped but now I see that none of my music is downloaded. Do I have to download each song/playlist individually?
Updated the phone to IOS 7.1.1 but there was a problem with my computer. Everything was removed from the phone but I couldn't get it back without help. The tech helped me and everything is fine now except the music. I did sync it and backed it up but wonder if I should restore backup. I'm a little nervous to try that, what do you think.

I've tried and tried several times to Connect my device to my PC and follow the onscreen instructions in iTunes to download the update from Apple. Problem is iTunes doesn't connect to my iPad so that I can update to iOS 5. I don't see the iPad icon when iTunes loads. I have looked in my computer and see the iPad is recognized. Any one else having this problem? This is also happening with my iPod

I have iOs 5 on my iPad 2 but it will not let me use airplay mirroring on my apple TV i have the newer version of that too.
You get all the new iWork suite (Pages 5, Numbers 3 & Keynote 6) free with your Mac purchase. You just need to go to the App Store and sign in with your Apple I.D.
We warn against relying on the new iWork Apps, they really are just public betas and we are getting a number of users here with unopenable files. Bad news if this is your Masters.
iWork '09 can be purchased as a Boxed DVD set from Amazon US$27, or online.
It is much more usable and safer (not totally).
LibreOffice [free] does not have as polished a UI but is actively supported, and uses open file formats as well as MsOffice formats. It also has the advantage of opening/saving virtually every known format on the planet (wish it would do Pages!) and has a usable but not briliant intgrated database.

My old iPad 2 is updated to ios 7.1.2 but I have a new 4 which is only compatible with 7.0.4 from setup. How can I backup my account to the new iPad with this incompatibility?
What you need to do is temporarily set up your new 4. Just long enough to update the operating system. Then you can erase all content and settings - which puts it back to its out of box state, then set it up again, this time restoring it from the backup of your two.
So, using the same Apple ID on both - just to keep things easy - set up your 4. Just basically choose 'set up as new' to activate it, then immediately update the iOS to 7.1.2.

Then set it up again, this time choosing to 'restore from the backup' of your 2 and your 4 will be a near clone of your two. -
i have just used air display with macbook pro. i have disconnected now from apple tv. but my laptop screen is still very small like its connected to the tv. this means all the tabs and writing is very small. like the display down the bottom where al the applications are, is n the middle of the page and not spread down the bottom. this is seriously annoying! all the writing is every small and the tabs are small and its hard to read. the air display link has disappeared from my computer. but the laptop screen is still very small. i want to know how do i get rid of this and return my macbook screen to its normal size. thank you

If your content is still being displayed incorrectly, I would check the resolution setting for the built in display with this article:

If it keeps happening whenever you use AirPlay then I would use this section of the following article to reset the display system:

You can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.Reset the resolution
Start by resetting the Mac's parameter RAM. If the display does not come up, was previously set to an unsupported resolution, and still results in no video:
Start up in Safe Mode.
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
Choose Displays from the View menu to open the preferences pane.
Select any resolution and refresh rate that your display supports.
Restart your computer.

I ask for help I had got a used Ipad from someone they didn't give me the passcode so I can reset everything. I don't have the last computer it had been synced on or the passwords for the store nor do I know how to change the email adresses. So does anyone know how to reset the passcode on an ipad with no computer or have it been synced on itunes.
Plug into iTunes on any computer.
Hold down the sleep wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Don't let go of the sleep wake button and press and hold the home button as well. Do this until the Apple logo disappears.
Now let go of the sleep wake button but keep your finger on the home button for a few more seconds. The device should go in a mode that will enable you to restore it. -
I own PSE 7 on disc. The laptop it was loaded on died. My new laptop doesn't have an optical drive so I downloaded PSE 7 from the Adobe site. It downloaded fine but I cannot start using it until I enter a S/N. The S/N on the disc box doesn't work.
Those links weren't particularly helpful to me. They convinced me to install the drivers for my USB 2.0 card, but that didn't make a difference. Still no OS X without a PRAM reset if I've dared to venture into OS 9.
It's always been my understanding that an unblessed System Folder will not be selectable in OS 9's Startup Disk control panel. My folders are blessed and healthy. Of course I'm running 9.2.2, as stated in my first message. I also frequently verify and repair my disks and permissions.
I did a verbose startup of OS X, and noticed something funny about "ATY...too old." Perhaps this problem is related? I ventured into my system.log file and there it was, repeated over and over, everytime I've booted this computer:

I send it to this company technical service support and they didn’t fix it saying that the button problems are not covered by the warranty; moreover they say that warranty just covers software and hardware problems. Ok Apple users...Is there a way to delete e-mails on my Mac and not have to delete the same e-mails on my iPhone, and iPad...and vise-versa. I have the Cloud, and thought that everything would sync all of the time. If you know of a setting I need to adjust, please let me know.
Are you referring to @mac.com, @me.com or @icloud.com emails? Or some other email providers emails?
If the former, it should do that automatically. If the latter, no. iCloud does not (nor is it supposed to) sync non-Apple provided emails. -

How have you managed to get apps on your phone that are tied to a different and unknown AppleID?
If these apps were not purchased by you, having them is effectively software piracy and you should purchase them using your own AppleID if you want to keep hem. -
I was given an iphone 4s by my sister as she got a new one, now i want to clear it so that i can set it up with my own details, if i erase all content and settings will this affect anything on her new iphone as it is synced to the same gmail account
her contacts are connected directly with the Google Server so as long as they are saved to her Gmail account she should be 100% fine.. the only contacts she may lose are the ones that she added directly onto the phone and did not sync to her Gmail account.. so you should just double check with her on that

The Game Center used to work with my Apple ID before I updated to iOS 7.4, I used to play multiple player with EA Real Racing 3 game but it doesn't work at all and every time I tried to go to the Game Center it's just blank, even to the settings nothing!
Try:
