HT1657 After I rent a movie and it is down loaded how do you play it I don't see a play button
Where is the play button on this "upgraded" Itunes?
As far as I know rentals can only be downloaded once, I think that it's just bought films that can be re-downloaded (which isn't possible in all some countries).

HT1657 I rented a movie and didn't down load, but I was charged

You must have started it by accident.

Why after I rented a movie and finish watching it and wanna watch it again with in the 24 hours, have to pay another rent fee to watch it? When I already paid the the fee to rent it for 24 hours?
Start the video and slide all the way to the beginning. If the video isn't in your Movie app, then the rental expired.

I rented a movie and it's totally downloaded, but when I play it there's no sound or picture (though the progress bar is moving and time is coming off the movie like it's trying to play). Help!
Hi California Jess,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If you were not able to watch your rental movie, you can report that to the iTunes Store by following this:
How to report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBookstore purchase

I rented a Movie and it has been loading for 3 hours now. Internet connection is fine. Have never had a problem with this before. What's really annoying is that the 24 hour time limit is counting down even though we cant watch it. Any suggestions?
The first thing to check would be your internet download speed, you can do this at www.speedtest.net.
HD movies require a recommended speed of 6 Mbps, while SD movies require a recommended speed of 2.5 Mbps.
Additionally, your 24 hours don't start until you begin to watch the movie, you have 30 days to start watching the movie. -
I rented a movie and can't figure out how to play it
I rented a movie and can't figure out how to play it. It does not appear in my movies and does not have a play button on the main movie screen.
This should help. Presumably you have not tried to move your movie to some other device as it can only be on one device at a time. Also, presumably you allowed it to finish downloading.

After I rent the movie, Can I download it, so I can watch it without internet?
All movies from the iTunes Store, rental and purchased, download completely to your computer or iOS device, and once the movie has completely downloaded can be watched without needing a network connection.

HT1657 If I rent a movie and download it to my iPad.
If I rent a movie and download it to my iPad. Can I still watch it if wifi is no longer available?
Normally once a rental has completely downloaded, you no longer need a connection to the iTunes Store to play the movie. Some people have, however, tried to play a rental and been instructed to connect to the iTunes Store. I have not been able to spot any pattern in when it works and when it doesn't, so all I can say is that it should work but may not. I know that's not a good answer, but it's the best I can provide. Perhaps someone else here will have better insight into the issue.

HT1657 i rent a movie and stop before the end how i can fix this

HT1657 Can i rent a movie and then watch it without a wi-fi connection???
i want to know if i can rent a movie from the itunes store and watch it on an airplane???
Welcome to the Apple Community.
From my own personal experience, I have found that when I turn off the Wi-Fi on my Wi-Fi only iPad, I am still able to play rented movies on it. I have tried this perhaps four or five times and in each case, this has been the result. I have also noted that other users have had the same experience as I.
However saying that I have noted a small number of users that have stated they are unable to view rented movies without an Internet connection. This knowledge base article from Apple, also suggests that an Internet connection is required. -
If I like the movie that I rented and want to buy it later, will the price of the movie be the bought price minus the rented price?
No.

Now everytime I try to play it I can't and I can't download it. I've been charged but can't watch my purchase. How do I just return it and rent it somewhere else? Too much of a hassle.
Try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption -
