The ipad wont sync and will return an error "Ipad cannot sync because the computer is no longer authorized to transfer the purchases..." But when I do a file>devices>transfer purchases. It is successful. Updated to ios7 recently. I'm facing the problem since then. I've tried deauthorizing and then authorizing several times.

Thanks Gail but ive tried that as well as logging oht and back into my accounts on my iphone and mac but I still get that message. I actually found a solution by unckecking my synced music playlist and clicking sync to remove it and then reclicked on my playlist to sync and it actually synced notmally and I got all of my new songs so I wanted to test it again so I clicked on sync again and the message once again popped up until I did the un-syncing and re-syncing again. I guess I will keep doing that in the future even though its annoying but its better than resetting my iphone.

oh the error msg    error= -100000

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

  • Playing mp4 audio gives error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt"

Playing a particular mp4 audio file directly from a website link gives error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt". However other mp4 audio files from this same website do work correctly. What can I do to get all the the mp4 audio files to play directly from the same website? I must have the correct plugins, etc. since the other files play. This file is not playing from YouTube, is it on the website.
    Thank you for your help.

What is the link to the site and file in question?
MP4 files should be handled by Firefox itself, not a plug-in.
    # Click the ≡ Menu Button and choose Add-ons.
    # Click Plugins.
    # Set every plug-in to "Never Activate".
    # Try loading the file again. Is there any difference?

Just upgraded to Mavericks. Now I cannot access scans from my hp scanner. After it complete the scans and I try to save as tiff, jpeg or pdf I get a either a grey blur or a message that says cannot save because the file cannot be written to. I did not have any problems before the upgrade. I would greatly appreciate any light shed on this.

Go to the HP site and look for drivers for your scanner. It apparently needs an updated driver to work with Mavericks.

  • I can't download a movie because, the files are corrupt. Deleting tmp files doesn't solve it.

I'm trying to download The Social Network, but every time it gets to 10mb downloaded, it goes down to zero KB, and starts over and will loop once or twice until finally saying the file is corrupt and giving me an error 8008. I deleted the tmp file on my MacBook Pro, and that didn't solve it. I also tried on my Windows PC on an entirely different network and it did the exact same thing. Is this a server problem on the host's part? Thanks in advance for any help in regards to this issue.

  • When booting from SSD I cannot see all the files on my HDD

    Hi All,
I have installed an SSD in my SuperDrive port and made this my default boot drive. I am able to succesfully boot using the SSD with newly installed OS Mavericks. However once I've booted from the SSD my HDD only shows a handful of files but not my Home Folder with the majority of my files. When I restart and select to boot from the HDD I can see all of my files as I should. I can also see the SSD with the OS Mavericks installed. I'd like to boot from the SSD and run all applications from it while simply opening my HDD to view any stored files, music, or pictures. Does anyone know why my HDD isn't showing everything when bootign from the SSD?
    Thanks - JT

Sorry about wall of text, I did put line breaks in but they seem to have gone awol.

  • I am having problems downloading Mozilla Firefox. I select download and wait - then I select run. My computer then says it can't verify the site do I want to run anyway. When I select yes, an error box displays saying that the file is corrupt.

I have windows 7 on my computer. I am sure it is a setting issue but I do not know how to fix it.

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
See "Disable virus scanning in Firefox preferences - Windows"

  • Excel 2013 Cannot Save because the file is read-only.

To  answer both. He can edit and save to these locations. Then randomly it comes up and says it is in read-only mode. He saves the document as something else. Deletes the original document and then renames the newly saved document back to the original name. Auto-save is on and working and he is using versioning but I believe those are on for everybody. Like I said I did a excel doc as him and didnt have any issues. So I am not sure what it takes to reproduce it. I actually made sure he wasnt also connected to wireless and he is not he is only hard wired.

User keeps getting this same error on random excel files that he has opened for editing. They do not say read-only mode. They trust settings are correct. I created a spreadsheet modified it saved it and opened it every way I could think of and cannot reproduce the problem but can show me on the spreadsheets. It happens on his and others spreadsheets. Doesnt seem to be a rhyme or reason for it.

  • When I go to open iTunes it says the file is corrupt and I should reinstall it, what should I do

I went to open iTunes on my PC and it said the copy of iTunes was corrupt and I should reinstall it.  What should I do?  and how does it become corrupt?  I opened it last weekend...please help

Let's try a repair install of iTunes first.
Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
Can you launch your iTunes now?

  • Every time I try to open a project, I get the error that the file is corrupt

Every time I open a file, even an empty file everything workseat, but when I decide to save it and open it, Premiere Pro shows the following message:
"File could not be opened because the file is corrupt"
It does not matter what type of file I create, it could even be an empty project and it does not open. The weird thing is that if I save the file under a USB, it opens it without showing any errors.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.
