I used iPad search and found the "video" app the icon looks like a scene marker with a blue background. Thank's for the help. I just thought it would be in the iTunes library. P.S. looks like it is better to download to your computer so you have 5 devices to view on. If you download to your iPad then you can only view there!?

I found my college roomates band's cd . how can i find track names since its not in database. they were semifamous so it should come up

They will only show up in iTunes if someone (your friend, their producer, or a fan) has submitted them to Gracenote.
If that did not happen, you can try identifying the tracks with an auto-tagging program such as Picard.

How do I add a single movie on an external drive to my iTunes library (v 11.0.2)

I have all of my iTunes movies on a separate hard drive due to the number/size of them. I move them into my iTunes library on my MacBook Pro as needed. With version 11.0.2 (just installed) there is no "Add File To Library" and selecting "Add To Library" starts loading every movie I have. HELP!

iTunes for Mac has always only had Add to library....
Add file to library and Add folder to library are in iTunes for Windows.

My closest Genius Bar (thanks Katie) confirms "Add To Library" will sequentially add everything in the folder you specify to iTunes - no prompt to select individual movies.

Trying to move iPod touch to new computer. iTunes library from old computer already on external hard drive. Don't want to lose playlists, apps, etc. Help?

I am trying to move iPod touch to a new computer. My iTunes library was already on a 1 TB external hard drive. I downloaded iTunes on my new computer, plugged in my external hard drive with my iTunes library, and changed my iTunes media folder location (preferences-advanced) to my external hard drive location. But now all my songs are "checked" (all were not before) and none of my old playlists are present. When I plug in my iPod touch to the new computer, it asks if I want to erase and sync. I do not want to lose my playlists, apps, etc. How do I move over to my new cpmputer without erasing my iPod and losing stuff?

To try to explain this simply;
I recently purchased a new computer (Toshiba laptop),
I have already uploaded some CD's to my Library and synced my iPod Touch to my Library,
But when I connect my iPod Classic to my computer's iTunes tells me that my iPod is already synced to another Lirbrary and gives me the options of either to "Transfer Purchases" or " Sync and Erase",
I've tried to "Transfer Purchases" but it seems to upload literally only iTunes store purchases but I want to upload ALL of the music from my iPod to my Library because I have purchased albulms from a (deleted) Rhapsody account and I also have Youtube converted songs (which basically makes up my entire Library),
I also have uploaded files from my old computer with an external hard drive but I have absoulutly no idea how to find them,
So! I need to upload my music from my iPod to my Library without deleting music from my existing Library or my iPod
Please help! And please explain as well as you can, I get confused easily..

The best way is to use the backup you made on the old computer and restore the iTunes folder to the new computer. No backup? The if the old computer is still working using an external device to copy the iTunes folder from the old computer and copy it to the new one.

I have been given a link to a "free MP3 download" and it opens in Mozilla using QuickTime - how can I make it download so that I can save into my iTunes library?

Music and Apps are not stored in iCloud, they are stored on the computer to which the device is synced.
Connect the device to the computer and sync the content.
If for some reason you've never synced with a computer or for some silly reason you have chosen to no keep your purchased content on your computer, see Downloading previously purchased content from iTunes.

How do I find my rented move on my new Apple TV?

This thread is from over a year ago. Also, that only applies if you rented via your computer. Hence the 'computers' icon. It is accessing your computers iTunes library via home sharing, not the cloud. Rentals made on other devices can only be viewed on that device.
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer.
