I rented an Itunes movie but after it downloaded i didnt know how to start it. Does it download to a file or do I have to reclick the rent button? Im afraid if i do that ill just be renting it again and paying an extra $5.

Thank you, I think we are close but this hasn't worked since the instructions per the document call for a selection of File>get into, which does not come up as a "bold" choice and is therefore not accessible, at least on my computer. It sounds like we are on the right track but I am not able to follow the instructions since the choices, as outlined in the article, are not chosable on my menu. Not sure what the problem is?

You definitely can delete the movie prior to the expiration date. However, the movie will automatically disappear from your iTunes library 24 (or 48) hours after you've begun viewing it. Here are the steps on how to delete iTunes media.

How do you play a rented movie from my iPhone 4S to the TV through airplay and Apple TV?

I attempted to rent a movie on my iPhone 4S and play it through airplay to my Apple TV. I could not at any time view any video from that rental but could here the soundtrack. Is there some setting/adjustment that I failed to complete?

To answer quickly, you cannot move a rented movie from your iPhone to your computer (or anywhere else). You'll have to watch it on the phone.

Can I play a rented movie from itunes on an Apple TV 2 while the movie is still downloading? I can watch it on the Mac that it is downloading on but the air play symbol does not appear to be apple to select the ATV. Does the movie have to completely download first?

'Make sure your iTunes is up to date 10.5 at the top where the tabs are turn on "Home Sharing" by enabling it on your MACBookPro under the advanced tab using your Apple ID and PW then turn on your AppleTV and on the far right side click on "Computers" repeat turning on "Home Sharing" on there then start your movie and click on the AirPlay Icon then select send to AppleTV! Is this in iTunes, on an iPod/iPhone/iPad or AppleTV?
Not sure what the error number is.
If it's a portable device try restrating it by power cycling, if a computer reboot it and restrat iTunes - this may or may not work but cure an authorisation problem I had in itunes the other day.

What did you use to download it with? iPad? iPhone? Computer?
If it's an iPad/iPhone, play it using the videos app.
If on the computer, look on the left side of iTunes in the library under movies.
