HT1657 i want to rent a movie but when i select rent i can't see where the movie is downloaded and the location to which it goes on my ipad, sorry new user.

I am a new user to apple ipad. I want to rent a movie, but when I select that option I don't see that it is downloading anywhere. Where should I look, is there some inside trick I need to know. Thanks

Not sure if this helps you, but I had the same issue. I inadvertently must have chosen a filter instead of none. Once I went and fixed this, my pictures were in my roll and I could see them. Hope this helps. I think you should be able to pick a filter and take a picture, but it worked for my phone.

Go to Finder > Preferences then select the General tab
Make sure External disks is selected.

Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

Firefox closes when I shut down, but when it is running, I can't see it on the monitor or find it in the Task Manager.

When I open Firefox, nothing seems to happen. It doesn't appear on the monitor and the Task Manager doesn't list it as running. But when I shut down the computer, Firefox must be closed before shut down can be completed.

The "System Tray" is located at the very bottom right of your screen and is a list of most/all running applications that will show in this list.
For your SysFader issue, this "may" be the problem:
1 Find the "My Computer" desktop icon and right-click it. A pull-down menu will appear. Select "Properties."

The cloud icon means that the songs are only in the cloud, they aren't stored on your iPad. You can turn off the showing of songs that are in the cloud via Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music (under the 'show all' heading) 'off'. If you want to some cloud songs to show but not all then you can hide the ones that you don't want via your computer's iTunes : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases

Hi, I had this problem when I first went to use iTunes with iCloud. using Windows 8 OS. Everytime I tried to download from iCloud error 5105 came up... not sure this will work for everyone, but pretty simple, I closed iTunes and restarted it and everything worked fine

HT1329 Hi! My old laptop (on which I had my itunes library) was stolen. I now have a new laptop, but when I plug in my ipod, it won't allow me to download/synch the songs on the ipod to the new laptop/itunes library. What is the solution to this?

Note: this is a Windows (not Mac), in case that makes any difference. When it gives me the option to synch, it informs me that all my old songs currently on my ipod will be erased - which, since I only had them on my old laptop, i don't want to have happen.

iDevices are not and have never been designed as backup devices. Use the backup of the computer to put everything back on the new laptop.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup of your media and other important files, you may be able to get iTunes purchases off the device by the following:
Connect the device but do not sync.
Right click on the device and select Transfer Purchase.
Right click on the device and select Backup.
The above should change the library association and move all iTunes purchases. At this point you should be able to sync the device. Non-iTunes purchases will be lost.

I create several rooms, add members too. When member logon, he/she select 'My Rooms' on Home/Teamwork/My Rooms, Portal doesn't display any message, It's empty. Could anyone know how to solve this issues?

Hi,
Check the user had permissions.
Go to portal content open permissions and then add check eu check box and add read/write etc for the user.
If not Try assigning the colloboration role and check and then remove.

Silly question first... when "deleting duplicates", did you delete the picturs or music folders? :}
Are the "Previous system" folders still there? Are the photos/music inside the recent Previous folder?
Have you tried doing a search for the files?
Do you have a new account set up, that you are now signed in to, rather than your old account?

When accessing Sams Club web site using Firefox and go to Photos, then Pricing, it brings up Digital Photo Center, but when I click items nothing comes up. I turned on my IE and the information was there. What's wrong with Firefox.

Songs show up on new computer in itunes but when try to play then can't find

All the songs are listed but when I select it says can't find it??? I did a Windows easy transfer to the new computer.

So what sync settings do you currently have enabled from under the iPod's Summary and Music tabs? Any error messages when you try to sync?
To be sure, reset sync warnings. To do this, right->click the iPod under Devices and choose Reset Warnings. Then resync your iPod.
