On the main menu, isn't there a settings icon next to the green one that says "Computer" ?

My iPod Touch 2nd Generation is Disabled. The mesage on my home screen says "iPod is disabled, connect to iTunes." But recently I have sold my old laptop that had all my iPod backup on it, and I have purchased a new laptop. I have iTunes downloaded onto my new laptop, and I have Authorized it with my Acount ID and Password. But, here's my problem, I have never Connected my iPod to my new laptop, and done a Sync. And when I connect my iPod to My computer with my iTunes up on my screen, My laptop trys to Sync into my iPod and a msg box appears on my screen saying that I need to Unlock my iPod before I can Sync. But I cant because of it being Disabled. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?
Before rettoring you need to place the iPod in recover ymode and then restore. For recovery mode:

I have just successfully updated my iphone 4 with the latest ios update but lost all my apps. I can find them on my itunes a/c but cannot get them to transfer back onto phone without downloading all again, what I am I missing?
Is "Sync Apps" in the apps tab checked? If it is and they still won't sync, uncheck it then run a sync, then recheck it and run the sync again. If that doesn't help, on the phone itself, go to your app store, tap on updates, then go to purchased, and tap the cloud button next to them to redownload.

I am trying to "authorize" my new computer so that I can download my previous purchases from the cloud. It says to open iTunes and go to the STORE menu and select AUTHORIZE MY COMPUTER, but when I open iTunes there is no STORE menu. Can anyone help?
If the computer's running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Authorize this Computer.
If the computer's running Windows, press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

How do I retrieve a older backup on itunes that I saved last week in the PC. Currently, it shows the latest backup was yesterday, but I need the backup I saved on 18.10.13. Can anyone help?

Because there are many personnel wifi networks around. It seems that most households have one. The assign a password for two main reason;
- To not allow other users to steal their internet connection
- To help prevent outside users from gaining access to their computer. -

Why it's like that I don't think that Apple have said (these are user-to-user forums). If you haven't downloaded it on your iPad then have you checked to see if you can download it on your computer's iTunes (Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option) or Apple TV ?
If it doesn't show on either of them then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will let you download it on a different computer/device or refund or credit you : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. However, I can not bring them to him on a Flashdrive when I meet with him without an extraordinary amount of presssure on my part. THis is not just some little email issue. I changed my password and used the new computer, next time I tried to log in it wouldn't accept the password. I tried the old one as well but that doesn't work either. Can anyone help?
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu. Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

Be sure to open Keychain Access and repair the keychain:

It's not clear what you're asking. What mobile device are you talking about. iPhone back ups are ordinarily in one of two places: iCloud or a computer. The are not stored on the phone. If you're currently backing up your phone to iCloud and you want to back it up to your computer, you can do that using iTunes. You don't move a back up from iCloud to your computer.
