HT1657 Rentals will not delete from my iPad - Help needed - please

I tried downloading 4 movies before a trip - 2 were successfully downloaded. The other 2 were not. So once I reached my destination and hooked up with the wifi I attempted to down load again only to be told that I do not have room. So I bought more storage only to see that the movies still will not compltely download. When I returned from my trip I plugged my iPad into my computer thinking, surely this will either get it down loaded or cleaned out of my iPad, but nope they are not showing up as a rental purchase and I still cant get the movies to download they are stuck at "Processing" about about 95% shown on the download bar. Anyone know how to fix this? Because of this problem I cant download any other thing to my iPad and I am getting super frustrated. Oh I did a hard shut down aslo... PLEASE HELP!!

After searching and searcing I found that a suggestion to:
setting > general > reset > reset location and privacy
it worked...
i just had to reinstall the app from the app store.

try restarting your computer, go into finder close all your open applications etc, servers, **** even clear your data in your web browser, do a disk utility check and verify your drives and repair em if nessicary.

    Please help!
My Itunes says there is a corrupt file and will not open (IMac 2010). I couldn't fix it by reinstalling ITunes so I moved ITunes to trash. It will not delete from my trash as it is saying "Japanese.lproj" is in use. I have never opened or used "Japanese.lproj". I can't delete ITunes or open ITunes to close the Japanese.lproj, what do I do? Thank you for any help you can provide..

It will not delete from my trash as it is saying "Japanese.lproj" is in use. I have never opened or used "Japanese.lproj".
Interesting. This sort of thing is more common on Windows systems. Taken at face value, one of the iTunes program files (one of the Japanese language resources) is damaged.
I'd try running your Disk Utility over your startup disk. Does it find/repair any damage? If so can you empty your trash and reinstall your iTunes successfully now?

  • After upgrading to Yosemite (I don't have iPhoto anymore, only PHOTOS) my pictures will not import from my iPad or iPhone 5s or any picture from web, it shows "Database Error: failured to persist version"

After upgrading to Yosemite (I don't have iPhoto anymore, only PHOTOS) my pictures will not import from my iPad or iPhone 5s or any picture from web, it shows "Database Error: failured to persist version".  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry,
Yes, the error message is exactly like that  ("Database error: failured to persist version")
No photos will import at all.  I use USB to import from iPhone 5s or iPad 2.
About the difference?  iPhoto and Photos .  Are there two softwares?
I also will like to merge and/or synchronize all my photos I had saved to iCloud backups, Macbook Pro,  iPhone 5s and iPad hard drives using iPhoto.  It's call iPhoto library.  At one point I turned off streaming.
    Thanks again Larry HN.

  • How can I change the settings so when I delete an email from my iPhone it will also delete from my iPad.....very sick of deleting the same emails two times

How can I change the settings wit mail so that when I delete my Verizon email from my iPhone it will also delete from my iPad too.... Seems like I shouldn't have to delete my email in three places...iPhone ..iPad ...and desktop

Don't know which email host you are using, but if this is a POP account, you can't do it. If IMAP, then deleting one email should delete it on all other devices.

  • The volume logo will not go from my iPad 3

The volume logo will not go from my screen even though I have not pressed it

Did you try restarting or resetting the iPad?
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • My HP Envy 120 wireless printer will not print from my ipad.

My Envy 120 series (E39A3C) will no longer print from my ipad. The day I installed it, it did print, but since then will not. As far as I know I have not changed any thing.
It prints perfectly well from my PC and laptop.
I have taken all the advice (I think) from the HP Help site, like switching off and on again, like Uninstall and then Install again. Nothing has made any difference.

No problem, I hope my responses were helpful in some way. The claim code that was printed on the "Important Printer Setup instructions" page when you enabled web services is the printers unique email address, when you append it with @hpeprint.com. AS you have seen, when you send an email from your iPad tot his address with either text content or a file attachment it will print on your Envy 120 provided both the printer and the iPad are connected to the internet via your WiFi network at the time you send the message. Just in case you run into any issues with ePrint jobs being delayed or not completing, here is a support document that gives possible causes and solutions.

  • I had rented some movies, put them onto my Ipod, watched them but now they will not delete from my list and also have expired I want to deleat them, what should I do?

I had rented some movies on Itunes put them onto my Ipod classic, after I had watched them although they had expired they did not delete form the rentals list and almost one year later they are still there. The movies can not be watched and I have tried every thing I can think of, other than restoring the software ( that will probably be the answer ) What should I do?

That is stealing. Your friend has no right/licence to give the songs to you. It violates copyright law.

  • Lightroom 5:  "Remove Photo" will not delete from hard drive

I just discovered that when I am using the "Remove photo" feature from the library, while the photo is removed from the catalog and "deleted", it remains on my external hard drive.  Is there a fix to this issue?  I did go to my external drive and create a file and then delete it.  I had read in other forums that this allowed Lightroom to find the correct place. This did not solve my problem.
    Thank you for any assistance.
    Karen

    Yes I do.
After I posted, I tried it again in a different file (I organize my photos
on my external drive by month and year).  In the month of August file, I
can delete in Lightroom and it deletes from my hard drive.  It appears to
only be happening in my September file, at least as far as I can tell now.
I created all of my file folders 2 months ago, so it isn't something I
    just did.
    Any thoughts?

  • Emails will NOT delete from the server

    Hello,
My issue is I have a gmail account setup on my phone. When I delete the emails from my phone it actually doesn't delete the emails from the main server account also. What it does is that it hides them, so when I access my gmail on the webserver, I have to actively look for them and manually delete them from there too.
This wasn't the case in the previous phones. Anyone tell me what is going wrong?
    Thanks

oh ok , so you're not reading them first, just deleting and marked as archived.
Huh. Just looked, and it's the same on my gmail, never realized that. Gmail is only archiving not moving them to trash or fully deleting. That's a Gmail policy.

  • IMessage will not send from my iPad

I set up iOS 5 and iCloud. All seems well except, I can't send a message in iMessage from my iPad. I choose a recipient, compose a title and message, but when I hit  send, "nothing happens". I set up my wife's iPad and all works well on hers and I can "receive" messages on my iPad and my iMessage app in my iPhone works perfectly, but not on my iPad. Any suggestions, I'm stumped?

To reset: Hold down sleep/wake button and home button at the same time, keeping them down until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears. If the red "slide to power off appears during this process, ignore it and keep holding the buttons down.
Hard resets often resolve a lot of problems. Give it a shot and report back.

  • Email Will Not Delete from iCloud

I am using iCloud free storage and have deleted all of my emails from iCould.com and from my device, but my iCloud storage still registers that I have over 6 gigabits of email on my two devices.
Apple support has been absolutely no help, and now are refusing to troubleshoot the issue event though they know there is an issue.
    1.      I have deleted all my emails form my devices and the cloud, sent, deleted, archived, etc.
    2.      Reset and restored my device to new factory setting and not to a backup.
    3.      Logged into the iCloud under apple aliases, @me.com and @icloud.com and these show no email.
Even though I have taken these actions my devices still show that I am using 6+ gigabits of email storage in settings-icloud-storage and backup-manage storage. There is absolutely no way to delete these email from the device of the icloud.
I have exhausted all my resources and think I will have to find another way to manage my digital media because the support I have gotten from apple concerning this issue is abysmal. The rep. I just got off the phone with told me that I needed to have a previous case number in order to help, I told her and had been a few months. When I found the case number she said she couldn’t help because it had been over 30 days.

If you hold the command key down (the one with the ⌘ on it) and hit the + key you can make the fonts larger. Might help out, I know as I've gotten up there in years I've had to use it more and more
In the mean time while twtwtw mulls this over, can you supply any further information? Did the system crash or didi anything change before you started having the problem? Are you really running 10.5.8 as your profile says?
We'll start with those for now,
    regards

  • Archive Logs Will Not Delete from OS

    Hi Everyone,
Here's my issue. Somehow i have a few archivelogs that are corruptued, plus a backup of the database that is corrupted. Since then, I have made a new backup of the database and everything is running smoothly. WHen i try to delete the files from DISK (which i cannot delete), i get this error: CANNOT DELETE <file_name>: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. I try to search for the corrupted files in rman, but i get this message "specification does not match any archived log in the recovery catalog". It seems that rman doesn't recognize that the files exist.
I go to the alert log and I have this error:
