The HD movie freeze every minute (it is completely downloaded), how can I call for support? Apple will give my money back?

Used recovery mode, re installed the Mountain Lion. It ran while am aslep and in morning the OS had updated the existing one and things started to work fine. It only asked for a Java 1.6 re install

I use my Apple TV mostly to stream from Netflix, and up until recently it worked perfectly. Now the film freezes ever minute or so and it takes another minute to start up again. This doesn't happen when I stream directly onto my laptop.

I have had an Apple TV for over a year. I use it mainly to stream programs from Netflix, and up until a few months ago, I had no poroblems. Now it has become impossbile to watch a Netflix program on my TV because the film freezes every couple of minutes, or less, and seems to be downloading. It starts again, but the same thing happens in a couple of mnutes more. I have tried pausing the film for a few minutes to let it download, and I have even started a film, and then paused it, half an hour before starting to watch it, hoping that this would allow the entire film, or most of it, to download, but it hasn't helped. I don't have this problem when I download directly from Netflix onto my laptop, but then I don't need Apple TV. Of course, I'd rather watch films on my TV than on my laptop. Any suggestions other than buying a new Apple TV after just over a year?

When I was searching I also found similar problems with screen brightness affecting wireless networking in iPads and MacBooks. So it seems like screen backlighting can generate wireless interference. The joy of technology.

I'm plugging in with the 15 pin type connector that has finger screws each side of it,(can't remember what it is called) with a separate usual plug into the earphone socket of the laptop and at the other end, into the audio output of the TV. I have been doing this for some time, with Netfix,and other programs,and never encoutered a problem till I tried Playing a film off I tunes.

The movie I rented stops 15 minutes in. What can I do?

I to have this problem... . can use every bit of the apple tv, and rent a movie. But content would not load. I finally got the content to load and it plays to the last 8 min and then spins up like it is spooling.... which its not.
Had to restart movie and got just past previous stopping point and froze again........ Was thinking of dropping direct tv and going with apple tv and netflix.... Not now.... all updates done on computer and apple tv.... Come on apple lets get the bugs out.

Months ago, when the version 2.0 software was released, I upgraded, because I was happy about Apple TV supporting AirTunes. But, the upgrade was a disaster in that the Apple TV became completely unusable.
Problem 1: Menus would stick forever, whenever displaying "My" content (i.e., my music, my movies), presumably because it was terribly inefficient at building the image slideshow thing to the left
Problem 2: During playback of a video file (again, in "My" stuff), it would just hang or stop completely at seemingly random times.
Anyway, I backtracked to version one of the software, because version 1 has always been rock solid for me.
So, the point is, the software is now on version 2.3, and I downloaded it, and lo and behold, those two problems still exist, which makes the Apple TV again completely useless for the one main thing I use it for...watching stuff from podcast downloads / DVD rips / my music, etc. Was there ever any fix for this?

Movie Freezes every time I try to watch it. =(

I bought the movie Stick It on my Ipod a couple weeks ago. For awhile it worked fine, but now, about 20 minutes into the movie, the video won't go any farther. If I try to fast forward, everything after that point is just a black screen. I don't want to pay another 10 dollars to buy it again, but I'd like to watch it. Other movies/TV shows work just fine. What should I do?

You might want to email Apple about this issue with the movie download with their email form at the bottom of this page:
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/movies/
Be sure to let them know that it messes up in this exact same way with both your iPod and playing it in iTunes, since that's probably your big indicator that it's probably the file itself.
Since it doesn't sound like the issue would be on your end, exactly, Apple just might let you re-download the movie.
They do have a policy, though, that basically says that Apple does not promise re-purchases, and that when you manage your files, it is at your own cost if you accidentally lose a file, etc.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app (or video app) on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

Firefox 6.0.2: Periodic freezes every minute (60")

My problem is as follows: everything worked fine with my Firefox on all my computers. All of them were sync'ed with firefox sync (including my mobile).
Then, on my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit desktop (Q9450 CPU, 4Gb of RAM, Asus P5KC motherboard Intel P35-based), I replaced the motherboard and the CPU. Obviously I reinstalled Windows from scratch and Firefox as well. From plugins, I installed only Adblock plus with the Easylist and malwaredomains lists. The same plugin (along with others) were installed previously on my desktop. I initiated a new sync and my bookmarks and everything obviously appeared ok.
On this new hardware platform (Q9650 CPU, 8Gb RAM, Asus Rampage Extreme, Intel X48-based) I experienced strange freezes, which felt that they ranged from 10" to 30". These happen while I am trying to do an action, like fill in a form for example. Firefox does not freeze while it is idle. When this freeze takes place, it affects only firefox. Nothing else gets affected. Made a clean uninstall, re-installed with only adblock plus and enabled firefox sync. Same issue...
It drives my crazy because both the motherboard and the cpu are better than the one I used to have. The system is not overclocked. All my other firefox installations work perfectly.
I should add that I also tried checking with certain sqlite commands the integrity of all sqlite databases. All were ok. Additionally, I deleted this system from sync, completely uninstalled ff, deleted the relevant Application data subdirectories and made a fresh install, only with adblock plus and re-enabled sync. Same issue. Also tried using other memory DIMMs. Same thing again.
Atm, it feels like this is either motherboard related OR there is a "blocker" somewhere. What strikes me a lot is that it works perfectly on all my other computers (remember that all of them are firefox sync'ed) and that the problem appears on the strongest of these machines...
I've read some bug reports in bugzilla that *seem* to be similar to mine, but can't quite correlate the same. Then I stumbled an excellent process explorer from winternals (mentioned in this thread here as well), which you can get from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653
Running this process explorer along firefox I noticed that initially all seem fine. Selecting View -> System Information I watched what happened while browsing. Initially, browsing causes some small spikes. Then something *very* strange happens (see attached pic):
Every 120" cpu load rises for approximately 60".
During the 60" cpu peak, firefox exhibits the freezing
firefox is ok during the rest (120-70=50") of the time only!
Note that this behaviour does not appear immediately at firefox start, but rather appears later on. I can not pinpoint the exact cause at this point. Once this 2 minute cycle starts, it does not stop until firefox exits!
Perhaps this should be submitted as a bug directly, but it felt like I had to gather some expert opinion here to help me and the devs on this.
EDIT: Updated info. From sysinternals, I can see that when the 60" peaks take place, cpu time is dominated by thread MOZCRT19.DLL (see 2nd screenshot). During that time, the following seem to be causing the peak:

I did a system update and now my computer freezes every minute

As we speak my computer is freezing at 1 minute intervals. It works fine for 1 minute and then stops anything I am doing (even if not online) and the rainbow circle comes on for another minute freezing anything I try to do. This is continuing as I am typing this, making this a long process. I think it has something to do with my system update.
I did a system update last night and it said it was going to install and restart my computer. But an hour later when I checked on my computer it had been stuck on the outerspace screen with nothing on it so it never restarted and I had to turn it off manually. After I turned it on myself I noticed it acting this way so I thought maybe it was because it could not restart to complete the update proccess so I tried to restart it but the computer would only get stuck on the same screen again. I tried it several times, it wouldn't shut down or sleep either when commanded to. I let it rest all night and this morning tried to restart it again and finally it did but the freezing continued. I don't know what is wrong or what to do. I have to type up a lot of homework and I cannot do it if it freezes on me while typing and if I try to save and it freezes again. Help!
I also looked for more system updates and it said it was already up to date.

No, it is set up to only sync selected books. But I even tried to just remove all books and not sync any and it won't let me do that. It always acts like it is syncing correctly, then all of a sudden all books I'm trying to remove get selected again.
I have a total of 20 books. 9 books are on the phone. I am trying to remove all but one of them and then add one other that currently isn't on the phone. I tried removing the ones I don't want first and syncing with the intention of adding the one I want after the others are removed. It wouldn't remove them. I tried unchecking the box that tells it to sync the books at all and remove everything and when I hit sync it just reverts back to the checked box and the 9 original books.

My macbook pro halts and the screen freezes every time when i work with graphics intensive stuff

I have updated my snow leopard to lion 7.2, eversince that, whenever i use my macbook for graphic intensive stuff (games or even watching movies) causes my pro to halt with a frozen screen. Does anyone face the same problem?

Start up computer not loading & freezing every minute

If anyone can shed some light on this I would be so grateful. So I started up my computer in safe mode as the computer keeps freezing with the multi coloured wheel of death, and it is not loading the icons on the desktop or the bar at the bottom. Just a plain Yosemite picture. Think it is over run but how can sort this out? Any help would be massively appreciated.

Two thoughts.
1. The OS on the old HD is specific to the old MBP and won't boot the new one.
2. Macs will not boot from an OS version that is older than the one current at the date of manufacture.

Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film and use the 'Report a Problem' link (iTunes support should reply within, I think, 24 to 48 hours).

Thomas Dickson1is right, you might be running out of free open disk space without knowing it. When you go to the desktop, hold down the <CTRL> key then click on the Mac HD icon, Choose Get Info and see how much space is listed under the 'Available' Label.

You could try the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option. If that doesn't start it downloading then you will need to contact iTunes support (rentals are a one-time only download, so they will need to add it back into your queue).
