I rented a movie from itunes, but it didn't download to my ipad. I was charged for the rental. How can I download it without getting charged again?
Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film and use the 'Report a Problem' link (iTunes support should reply within, I think, 24 to 48 hours).
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

Itunes wont download because I dont have 10.6.8 or greater. But I just installed the snowlion disk thing and my macbook is a 10.6.8 version so how do I get itunes to download?

We have installed HCM and CRM modules on Fusion Application 11.1.7 version.
This is 2 node architecture ie IDM components installed in one node and Fusion components installed in another node.
We are able to start the IDM components and Fusion components successfully, but when users are trying to access any task from Fusion application home page, they are getting the below error

Whenever I switch from My Music to iTunes Store and then back to My Music, it sends me to the top of My Music instead of where I was when I switched. How can I get it to return to where I was when I switch out of and back into My Music instead of going back to the top?
Firefox will reload a page and reposition at the top if the copy in the cache has expired. However, that shouldn't happen right away.
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help? -
I rented a movie teh other night and started the download. It was taking a while so I went to bed. In the morning there was an error message and the movie did not download. I did nothing as I figured I would just try agian another day. A few days later I received my receipt by email. I had been charged even though I never got access to the movie. I tried to access the download again, but can not figure out gow to download the movie agian without being chraged. PLease help.
You could try the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option. If that doesn't start it downloading then you will need to contact iTunes support (rentals are a one-time only download, so they will need to add it back into your queue).

I just rented my first movie on my apple tv from iTunes and it said it would be 3 hours before I can watch the movie. What the heck is up with that and why dose it take that long for a movie to start? I also have netflix and it starts instantly so why dose iTunes take 3 freaking hours I mean really how convenient is that. My wife and I decided to try an iTunes rental to watch a movie and then learn it will be 3 hours before we can watch it. This is again a **** poor thought out apple service that should at least inform you of this BEFORE you rent the movie not AFTER you pay for the darn thing. They will only be where you put them If you are doing the very basics, then they will be on your computer and they will be in your backup copy of your computer.
The itunes store is not global at all, never has been. You cannot redownload your content from another country. You can only use the countrys itunes store for the country that you are physically located. -
Is it possible to get a paid app re installed from an upgrade? I had a trial version upgraded but the upgarde failed but I was still charged for it.

Hi there,
Have you considered using the TDM file format instead of the LVM format? With TDM you specify parameters for your file and your channels. When you want to read data from the file you can extrac data based on those parameters. So you could construct a search that extracts the data from a particular time, or all the data that was acquired in a 10 minute period for example.
There are a few VIs you would have to become familiar with to do this (the datalog VIs are located in a palette on the File IO palette), but it would probably be easier for you to use these then to construct the file yourself and then program in all the search parameters.

They should help you decide if you would like to use this format or stick with the LVM format.

Where did all my apps go?
Yeap, it's another of those "undocumented features" from the Apple cult. The same thing happened to me even though I backed up to iTunes before upgrading. I lost everything... apps, music, podcasts and ebooks.
You'll have to reinstall all your missing apps from the app store. But, don't worry. It's free. It remembers that you bought them. You can even look up past purchases to verify what you bought. (I don't know how far you can go back since I only bought my iPad last month.) The pain is that you have to load them individually.
I also had to separately reload all my music, podcasts and ebooks, which I acquired prior to buying my iPad.
It goes to show that the one area in which Apple really beats out Microsoft, is their hype.
Even so, the iPad is great. -
I am trying to rip CD's into iTunes so sync with my iPhone. When I currnetly rip the CD, it will rip the first 10 tracks in a matter of moments at 40x. However, the last 4-5 tracks take forever - up to 20 minutes per track. This has happened on multiple CD's and only with the v11.0.1.12.

Then it's likely that you have a hardware issue on your hands. Follow the three r's:
1. Restart: Turn it off and then on again
2. Reset: Hold down the home and power button until the apple logo appears
3. Restore: Connect the device to iTunes and restore it as new. Test the issue and see if it persists.
Don't forget to back up before you restore, so you can keep your data.
If the three r's don't work to solve your issue, you will need to get your phone repaired. To do this, you can go into the apple store or call 1-800-275-2273. -

Can you post a link to websites where you see it happen?
This issue can be caused by an old bitmap version of the Helvetica or Geneva font or (bitmap) fonts that Firefox can't display in that size.<br />
Firefox can't display some old bitmap fonts in a larger size and displays gibberish instead.<br />
You can test that by zooming out (View > Zoom > Zoom Out, Ctrl -) to make the text smaller.
Uninstall (remove) all variants of that not working font to make Firefox use another font or see if you can find a True type version that doesn't show the problem.
