if you use a hdmi to dvi converter then you only get picture and not audio because dvi don't carry audio same with vga -

Hello, I use MAC AIR OSX 10.6.8 and have Adobe CS2, that I was using 2 years ago on my older computer. I stopped using it because it would close down in the middle of work. Now I would like to reinstall it on the MacAir but I can not get it working. It tells Adobe doesnT support my System. But I can not update my old version or activate it. What can I do?

If the problem is that you already installed cs2, but it won't activate, that's because adobe took the activation servers offline for some older adobe products such as cs2.
You'll need to use the non activation version of cs2 from here and the supplied serial number:

Thanks, This caused me to go back and try again since the solution seemed so simple. What I did was when it started downloading, it started with the iphones apps to my computer. I did not want the apps downloaded on my computer so I stopped it. If I would have waited, the music was uploaded right after the apps were downloaded.

I'm connected to the network, but still can't get online!
I use airport to connect to the internet in my home. I have a very strong signal and my computer says I'm connected to the network, but I still can't connect to the internet. It just stopped working. Running diagnostics doesn't help- it just tells me to restart the device, which I've done over and over to no avail.

You have a green light signal in network status window? If it is yellow or red it is unavailable. If your connection is full of traffic, this may effect connection.
In window you may need to type in optional search domains. Your provider should tell you this no one else~ They would also walk you through your connection failures. If it is yellow and you connect to your provider's router and don't have your own router, this number may not appear in your connection information. You need to tell them their router is down so they can fix it. They may not find out if pings come back. Pings may also be cached (I am not sure but it might) so it may take them a while to find out if you don't tell them. I would call your provider. Maybe empty your preferences in your browser. You may have cookies or garbage to empty there. Use another browser.

I suggest you to try the below
Restart the VM from the Management Portal
Recreate the Endpoints of the VM. You might want to refer to the below link for creating Endpoints

Resize the Virtual Machine from the Portal but ensure to Back up the Data in the Temporary Drive ( D:\) since the data will be lost while Resizing.
If the issue is still not fixed, please recreate the VM by retaining the attached Disk’s and attaching the same to the new VM
If the issue still persists, you might want to recover the VM by attaching the OS Disk to another VM . Please refer to the below mentioned blog

How can I get this paid-for purchase to download? Ever since making the purchase from within the app on the I-Pad, it has been stuck on the screen with "Please Wait" showing. I can leave the app and run other apps, when I return it is still on that same screen. It took 11 hours from the purchase time until I received a receipt in my e-mail. I had the screen active on that for close to 1 hour following the purchase, then had to go to a different location; I was not at home at the time. I have tried to get it to complete here at home for over 1 hour and tried to find the purchase in the I-Tunes store from my laptop computer, and get a report that all purchases have been downloaded.
This morning, I did a power down and reboot of the I-Pad, that got the "Please Wait" resolved. I then tried clicking on the additional picture set and it did download and install, so the problem is now resolved.

I have a replacement phone and have saved a backup but ideally before or, if need be, directly after I restore from backup I would love to clean up my apps. I have over 2000 apps which I clearly don't use all at once so like to keep most of them sitting in itunes however recently life got messy and so did my phone so much so that I just lost control of what was on it and not on it because of a forgotten wifi synch that I'd not disabled so randomly id get apps appearing on my phone that I'd deleted ages and ages ago. Anyway the notion of having to fix it all on the phone with the jiggling icons is a painful one... I am hoping I can do it via my lap top instead. Anyone? all search efforts have not arrived me at the info I seek.
