The 30 pin lightening adapter is apparently not supported by my ipod 5th generation how do I support it

Why when I try to sign in to Find my Friends does it tell me I cannot as my iPhone is not supported with free iCloud service? I do not use find my friends on another device.
So, have you created an iCloud account and is your device connected to iCloud?

I just got a new ipod 5 and when I plugged in the charging cord that came with it, it says it is not supported, and may not charge. It worked the first few times, but now it won't charge at all.

Why when i'm trying to download my iphone photos to computer is it saying there are no photos or videos on this device when I have many on the phone.
Because it says it's incompatible when it can't be, I got hope. I get error messages all the time with my iPod and iPhone that it cannot sync and that 'this device is not capapble of connecting to iTunes' stuff. I literally forget that happened, plug it in again and it works, I later realize that iTunes made a mistake, they do that.

When I attempt to sync my ipod touch 1st gen, it gives me a message that I am not authorized to sync on this computer and gives me my old user id. I don't use that old id and dont have access to the email address(no one does lol) and the security question is one that I would not even use. Anybody help?

Does anybody know why my ipod touch 3rd generations screen does not show anything? The screen is all black constantly. When I try to synchronise my ipod with my iTunes library it comes up with a message saying " iTunes could not back up the ipod because a session could not be started with the ipod. Can anyone help me find my old library now that I appear to have deleted it or overwritten it accidentally? I'm always asked if I want to update when I put in my i-pod and have to do that before I can open my library so I think it was this action that caused me to delete previous library. Can anyone help? Apple support have been hopeless as they don't seem to respond to this particular problem but keep giving me answers to finding my purchases which i already know how to do!

The ! is an indication that the link or file path to the original file has been broken. Try the following:
make a temporary, backup copy (select the library and type Command+D) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

iOS 6.1.4, which came out at the start of May, is for the iPhone 5 only.
What account were those apps downloaded with ? If they were downloaded with his account then they will be tied to his account so only his account can download updates to them. If they were bought/downloaded via your account then what id shows at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app ? If it's his then try tapping on it and log out of it and then log in with your account and see if that makes any difference.
