If you want to report this to Apple, either send Feedback or send bug reports and enhancement requests via its Bug Reporter system. To do the latter, join the Apple Developer Connection (ADC)—it's free and available for all Mac users and gets you a look at some development software. Since you already have an Apple username/ID, use that. Once a member, go to Apple BugReporter and file your bug report/enhancement request. The nice thing with this procedure over submitting feedback is that you get a response and a follow-up number; thus, starting a dialog with engineering.
Personally, I prefer tabs on the bottom. I recommended top and bottom be options, but am glad I don't have to navigate through the bookmarks bar and URL address window to access tabs. According to the poll at http://www.macosxhints.com/polls/index.php?qid=safaritabs&aid=-1 fifty-six percent favored bottom tabs. An user-selectable option would have satisfied all users.

Safari 5.1.10 is the newest version for Snow Leopard, and all available Mac OS X upgrades other than Yosemite require a purchase. You may want to switch to another browser, such as Firefox, temporarily.

Sorry to say that Apple isn't the best choice in that department as they are primarily a consumer products company, they don't cater to business needs with their offerings.

Apple has discontinued their X-Server and now OS X server is really just a hobbyist pursuit, not a serious business solution. The Mac Pro hasn't been updated in ages.
Mac's can be used on Windows, Unix and Linux servers, but on that side of things it's best to use the services of a local server technician. Linux costs nothing for the licenses and is very secure and highly configurable.
You also can go Red Hat Linux which is a commercial version of Linux which requires licenses, but you get the better security and reliability plus business support.
All I can suggest is evaluate your local offerings from many of those type local server business services in you area and go from there. You'll likely be a mixed shop for quite some time or perhaps forever as some won't give up Windows like some won't give up their Mac's.
Also Mac's are not very cost effective anymore, Apple changes the operating system annually which require new software/paid upgrades, Windows 7 will last another decade and offer desktop models that parts can be exchangesd or replaced in house, unlike Mac's which one has to bring it in and AppleCare expires in three years.
So buisnesss and profit speaking Windows is pretty good, but if your like Google who has a big bank account then replacing Mac's every couple of years is nothing.

Ironically enoughy, many users were angry and disappointed about the new tabs in Safari, but yet you seem to want to use tabbed browsing. Be aware that the new Music App is decidedly different than the old iPod as well. No song lyrics, and some other features are no longer available in the music app either.
I love most of the features of iOS 5, but you should take a look at what is in store for you if you update.

Every time Firefox opened

Right click the FireFox button in your toolbar and look in the properties- middle tab...make sure that it only has "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" with no other link added to the end. I had a similar problem this morning and found a website had attached it's link to the end so it would always pop up first and would only open a new tab.
Hope that fixed it.

You should only have to navigate to netflix.com, log on to your account and play a movie.
The only thing you need to install is Silverlight, and Netflix should prompt you to do that when you try to play a movie (if Silverlight is not already installed on your Mac).

The best way to refine your searches is to start with Google's UK site. Is your Safari search window set to Google.com or Google.co.uk?
I use Inquisitor 3 to modify my search function. Once installed, its preference file is part of Safari Preferences. Open Safari Preferences and select the "Search" panel (if it doesn't appear, look for the >> at the end of the panels, click on that and you'll see "Search". In that panel you can modify your search needs based on a number of criteria, including making Google.co.uk your preferred search engine.

WVC210 - How Do I get Audio using Safari

I have read all the posts that say audio is not supported in Safari. I believe the primary reason is MPEG4 is not used with the Safari browser. However, I have seen competing products that support audio in Safari browser, so there must be a way to do it.
I'm trying to get the audio in my iphone 4. Can anyone guide me in the right direction? Is there a third party application that will stream the MPEG4 video with audio? It is not possible is not an answer.

I would like to provide an update for those of you with Android devices connecting to the WVC210. The application IP Cam Viewer now supports listen only audio for these cameras. (Paid version only, $4.99 as of today) I have tested it with the WVC210 and it does work. I did have to lower the MJPEG video size and quality in order to get clear audio on my phone. It also appears that the application utilizes the MPEG4 stream when you don't have audio enabled and MJPEG when you do. So far I have not had any luck streaming audio from the PVC2300 camera. If you have an iPhone and get a chance to try IP Camera Viewer, please post and let us know if it works.

You can't set a home page on Safari on the iPhone. However, you can put a shortcut to the page you want on the Home Screen of your phone. Navigate to the page you want (i.e. the Google search page). Then, tap on the icon at the bottom of the screen that looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it. Select "Add to Home Screen". Then, instead of using the Safari Icon, you'll use the shortcut and it will always take you to the Google search page.

When I am physically syncing one of my ipads I get an alert that the ipad will change a large percentage of bookmarks on my computer. These are old, out-of-date bookmarks. The ones on my laptop Safari are the ones I want on all my devices.

If you're syncing through iCloud, I believe you can disable bookmark syncing in Settings > iCloud and change the "Safari" setting to OFF, wait, then toggle it back ON again. I believe changing the setting (back to ON) asks whether you want to keep your existing bookmarks and overwrite them, or just use the bookmarks from iCloud.
I'm not sure if a similar workflow exists when syncing via iTunes, but you might try toggling Bookmarks syncing in iTunes to see if you get a similar dialog.

Simply stop using Safari and set your default browser to be Firefox.
I strongly advise you to NOT delete it as subsequent updates (e.g. 10.5.7 assuming Apple release that) will still try and update Safari regardless of whether you removed it or not.
There's no problem with having more than one browser present on your system (I think I have about 6 )
