Do you currently have a credit card set up in your iTunes store Enter Payment Information screen?
If so, grab a recent statement for that card and check to make sure that the address that shows up in your Enter Payment Information screenexactly matches the address showing on your credit card statement. For example, if your address in the credit card statement says "Street", the iTunes screen has to also say "Street" (Not St or Str.) Also match the capitalisation of the address on your statement. (If it says STREET in the statement make it say STREET in the iTunes screen, not Street or street.)
Also make sure that your name in the iTunes screen exactly matches the one in your statement. (Say, if you've got a middle initial in the credit card statement name, you need one in the iTunes screen.)
After doing that, does that get you past the invalid address thing?

So, in the iTunes store when I enter a gift card code and hit 'redeem' a message pops up and says, "Your session has timed out. Try again." This has been going on for FOUR DAYS. Totally never mind- I read a different discussion that had the same problem and got it fixed. I just signed out, entered the code, then when I was prompted to sign in, I did- and it accepted my code! Thanks!!

Can you use an iTunes gift card to purchase things actually in an app? (Buy "coins" using the gift card?)
No idea, but it seems like you should be able to. You can give it a try, but will have to figure out some way around the automatic 1-click ordering that the App Store now does by default.
It certainly seems like something deserving of a feedback form submission, though ...

Recently I've created a new itunes account without credit,but unfortunately fail to buy any free apps.
When I press the "download" button, a pop-up appear and ask me to complete the billing info.
The point is that many of my friends can buy free apps by creating non credit account, but why I couldn't?
Just feel confused.I found out the hard way on this one. All you need is to use the drop down and put mr, mrs etc and then be sure to select none for the billing if you do not want to use a credit card. Apple does not explain this little step when it asking for your billing information.

I signed in with my password. Everytime I go to buy it the little box comes up and says that your account will be debited. It then shows billing info or cancel. I hit billing info and it won't download till I hit done.

Why do you need my credit card information when I purchase songs from an already purchased Itunes gift card? If I cannot purchase goods with the prepuchased gift cards, then the card is useless and I want my money back.

Just because you are being asked to enter your credit card details doesn't mean that it will be charged for your purchases.

Part of the validation for credit cards is that they need to be registered to exactly the same name and address that you have on your iTunes account, which prepaid cards tend not to be. Do you have a proper credit card that you could use ? Or are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you could try using them as your payment method ?
Until you have a valid payment method on your account and what you owe iTunes has been paid off then you won't be able to download any item from the store, including free apps (and updates to apps). -
I just redeemed my gift card....my apple acct says I have 50.00. When I go to download a song it goes right to my billing info. Wants me to verify my credit card info but no where to redeem my gift card. How do I do this??

You need to set up an Apple ID for use with the iTunes Store before you can redeem anything in the iTunes Store. You don’t need to enter credit card information to redeem only the amount of a gift certificate or card.
