Photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days, even though your last 1000 photo stream photos will remain on your devices until deleted. What version of iTunes are you running on your computer? You need to update to the current version.

I cannot find the icloud on my macbook pro and I have anew iphone 5. how do i get the icloud on the macbook pro?If your mac book pro still has mobileme in System Preferences but no icloud icon, then you need to upgrade the OSX to 10.7.2 or higher (Mountain Lion is 10.8.x).
By the way, if you never migrated from mobileme to icloud, then it's now way too late to do that. All your mobileme data has been deleted and you'll need to set up a new icloud account. -

That won't do the trick. You really need the computer. That way all your data and files can be backed up when you backup the computer.
Your only other option, which is much more limited, is using iCloud:

How do I retrieve the photos taken on my new Iphone after syncing with my computer. I entered sync with my old Iphone instead of sync with new one.
Certain "lines" in my touch screen would not work... the "send" button on the touch screen would not send, then the "slide to unlock" button would work sometimes and not at others... and if i tried to force certain actions by double clicking or screen shots, the entire screen would start to "gitter" and dance back and forth.... then some times it would select a command and continue to do it over and over and over again without my touching the screen at all.

Make an appointment at the genius bar and see if they can help you get it out. Hopefully, you didn't physically damage the phone. Nano-SIMs are thinner than Micro-SIMs, as well as being smaller.
Then, go to your carrier and get an actual Nano-SIM. -
I tried installing itunes and then copying the old folders, but that does not work. The error msg I received was that it could not find the "source files" for the music.
Select a track with a broken link and press CTRL-I to Get Info. What is the location given on the Summary tab? Look for the actual file and note down its path.
Depending on just how you managed to import your old library it may be that iTunes is slightly confused over the folder layout and thinks your library should be in the new structure while it is, in fact, in the old one. If you can post back both paths I can confirm this and give you a set of steps to resolve everything.

My old Gateway laptop died (about 2 years old)but the harddrive is still good. I was able to retrieve all my old info EXCEPT I can't figure how to get to my old bookmarks file so I can copy them into my new computer. I believe. I have tried several forums, but the instructions don't give me the results I need. I am running my old drive with a USB adapter so I can see all my files, but can't get to/find the bookmark file.
