Can anybody help me? I dropped my phone and I just get a blue screen I can't turn it on now! What should I do?
Make an appointment at the genius bar. An out of warranty replacement will cost you US$199.
There are no magic words that will fix broken hardware.

Iphone upgrade has crashed my Iphone and causes blue screen error on PC
I just tried to upgrade my software and half way through my PC crashed. It said a blue screen error had occurred.
Itunes now shows that my phone needs to be restored, but everytime I try to do my PC crashes again. This has now happened three times in 1 hour. I have Itunes v.8.0 on my pc but this hasnt been a problem till now. I am so angry that I have lost everything on my phone due to a problem like this. Can anyone advise how I can restore my phone without totally killing my laptop?With the blue screen it can be a few things that are interifering with it. First thing unplug anything from the usb ports on your computer and if you have like a logtech webcam make sure it is unplugged and also that if it is built in disable the driver. If you are on a pc you may want to go into device manager and update your usb drivers on your computer.

Hi I am Arka Dey. I am using a
Windows 8.1 64-bit single language Dell laptop. Recently I have installed an update to my Windows 8.1 (X-64) operating system from the "Windows Update" available in the "Control Panel" section of my laptop.
But from that very day when I installed the updates, my laptop started behaving weird sometimes.
The problem is while I am using my laptop, a
blue screen suddenly appears and it says, " Your PC has run into a problem and needs to be restarted." Along with it there is
written the following message: " You can later search for this online - Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap (Wdf01000.sys)".
After displaying this for a few seconds in the blue screen mode, my
laptop automatically restarts. This has been happening for sometime for the past few weeks. I do not understand the meaning of the message displayed in the blue screen and nor do I know the reason behind its occurrence. Please help me with
a solution to this irritating problem as I am not a student of computer related sciences and software technologies. Neither am I that tech savvy. So please do help me with a guide or set of instructions to solve this problem of mine. The detailed specifications

Yes, its a shame. I have also contacted lenovo support hoping that they can sort out this problem. However, first response from them was 'contact your internet service provider since internet connectivity goes down'! :-/ I am hoping I have been able to get through to them now at least about where the problem lies. I wonder if anyone has tried using the laptop with the same broadcom wireless adapter with some other version of OS (linux, windows 7 etc.) and whether they still face the same problem. I haven't tried that yet. If this is just an OS / driver issue I hope someone somewhere is working on a fix! If not, I guess the only other solution would be to get an external USB wifi adapter but that is not something one would want to do when you buy a brand new Lenovo laptop. This was a big let down for me.

My battery drained on my iPad 4s and now I can't turn it off or on. It just continues to cycle through the Apple Logo scree for about 10 seconds and than goes blank. Any thoughts would be appreciated
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. If you have an Apple Store, then you could go there or your provider to find out.
The warranty does not cover damage that you do, so you will need to pay for the repair. -
Blue screen appears when computer is turned on
I have a hp g60-wm with Windows Vista 7 64bit. I turn on my computer and it loads my login screen then the screen turns blue and shuts down. I am unable to restore my system because my last back point was more than 6 months ago. I can do some things in safe mode but not everything that I am wanting to do. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Try to run a full anti-virus scan while in safe mode. Try to download your video driver from the HP Support & Drivers website and install it. Try to start your notebook in VGA mode. Start your machine and tap the F10 key and run the hard drive and memory tests. Open the computer, right click on the c drive, click on properties, tools, scan now and say yes to schedule on restart.

Yes, I'm sure I know what I'm talking about. Please note the next line in the iPhone Service FAQ:
"Service may not be available if your iPhone has been damaged due to accident or abuse. "
and later down the page:
"Apple reserves the right to refuse service on iPhones that are outside their warranty period if damage has occurred due to accident, abuse, or misuse. In such event, Apple will return your original iPhone to you without performing service, and may hold you responsible for diagnostic fees. "
So again, the OP may not be able to get a dropped iPhone repaired, though calling Apple is the only way he/she will know for sure.

Blue Screen appears on Toshiba Satellite C660-11L (PSCONE)
Dear all,
I have this problem ... I believe that it is the display driver, but I prefer to ask you, because you are the TOSHIBA specialists after all. So, I use WinXP Pro x86, SP3, fully updated, without viruses (NOD 32 v. 5 + Malwarebytes).
When I switch to thumbnails and there are some pictures, when I try switching on my camera, when I even sometimes try to play a movie on my computer and the "blue screen" appears and the laptop automatically restarts by itself.
So far I was not able to find a driver for the model 11L, but only for C660. Could that be the problem? Please, support me with the solution that I am searching for.

Those do not nail any driver. See if there are other .dmp files of a size other than 98,304 bytes.
Parameter 1 is 8. If the crashes seem random, it's likely a hardware problem. Arrange for a memory test to run for at least six hours. This runs from a CD.

Bring your phone and $199 to the Apple store for an out of warranty exchange of your phone. You clearly broke it when you dropped it.

I ordered an iPhone 5s in early September from the orange shop in Chamonix Mont-Blanc France.
I needed a new phone as i dropped my iPhone and broke it so it thought i would upgrade.
I was asked in the shop if I wanted a black or white one, I asked for a Black one, as all my iPhones have all been Black as I DON'T LIKE White ones. (sorry)
I was told my phone would arrive in a week so I waited with broken phone for new one. The following week I was told it would be the following week, the following week i was told the same but the assistant in the shop told me they would ring me when it arrived. Three days later i recieved a text from the shop to say the phone would be in tomorrow, when I went in they said it had not arrived and they would call me when it was in the shop.
They called me on Thursday the 17th of October to say the phone was in the shop.
I arrived at the shop at 6:00pm after my work, the shop closes at 7:00pm. I recieved the phone, signed for it and extra unwanted insurance with I was told I could only canceled in a month. I was then told they didn't have any sim cards in the shop, i said no problem the Phone i assume will need charging so i will take it home and charge it and return for the sim tomorrow.
So the Phone remained boxed.
When I returned home and opened the box I realised it was a white one, I replaced the lid put it back in the bag, and returned it to the shop first thing Friday 18th October, to point out the error, only to be told "to bad" ?? I was told I could have changed it the night before but not this morning? They said I had ordered a Black one but as I had signed for a White one nothing can be done. I was angry and left the shop. I returned later the same day with a French friend to try and resolve this problem, as I wasn't sure if something was being lost in translation. I didn't think I was being unreasonable, it is a very expensive piece of equipment and this wasn't what i wanted. They told my friend that the phone was not available in Black, that was the 5, and that the 5s was only available in silver and gold, and that mine was a silver one.
I then thought it was my mistake as it was a new phone. She put a sim in the phone put it in the box and I left for a business meeting only to arrive and see a Black iPhone 5s sitting on the table??
So I then returned back to the shop with the Black one and mine still all boxed and untouched to prove they had blatantly lied to me an hour ago, only to be told that there was nothing they were prepared to do.

A minor point, but it may avoid a little confusion if, instead of saying "black" in reference to the iPhone 5s, say "space gray":
