HT1688 my iphone cannot be located using find my iphone. It shows offline. Also, the mobile me shows inactive. I deleted and readded, but still can't get my phone to show up
my iphone shows offline in find my iphone, I deleted it and it it said it would find it when it was connected again but has never showed back up. My mobile me also says inactive. I have deleted it and redid it, but still my I cannot use the locate my phone option
Then it is either off, not connected to a network or has been restored as new. Not much you can do.

It will only be where you put it.
If it is on the ipad then transfer it to your computer, File>Devices>Transfer Purchases, then sync it to your iphone -
I have a Macbook, an iPad 2, and an iPhone 4. I also have iCloud on all three devices. For some reason I can not get new information from my contacts folder to transfer to the iPad or the iPhone. Never been a problem before.

Imap: google, hotmail, and more including icloud.
If you want to use multiple devices - move to imap, I would even say "exchange", but Google does not support free exchange anymore, since January of that year. So Ironically Icloud or Hotmail would be my choices right now.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I got my iphone to start sending emails, but still can't get the ipad to do so.
You should take it right back to the Genius Bar. After they fix or replace it, make sure you can text, call and use all the functions before you leave the store.

I hav an apple ID account with balance of $25,00. I used .99 to buy gameapp for grandson. We also downloaded a freebie or two. The games show up under the apps purchased. However I can not get the games to start using my HP laptop with windows 8. Any suggestions on how to play games purchase thru the Apple App Store but played on android deices.? Tkx
You can only use apps from iTunes on iPhone devices.
If you want apps for Android devices then you'll need to download the app on the Google Play Store on your Android devices.
If you don't have the Google Play Store you could dowload if from Google.
Windows 8 also has there own App Store. -

If I try to sync --I get the message that ipod can be synced w only one computer and if I sync with this library (which only shows new purchases from itunes) it will replace everything that is currently on ipodWhy can't the songs be transferred to the device? Is it because they are not authorized? Were these 25 tracks purchased/downloaded with the same account you have used to authorize the PC/new iTunes library?

You can upgrade to ML directly from SL. Why do you want Lion? ML=$19.99, Lion=$29.99 (or something like that if I'm not mistaken) but that was when Lion was on the Mac App Store (MAS). Unless you had purchased Lion previously, you won't find it on the MAS. Now, Lion may be available only at Retail Stores on USB (which would probably be more than $30) or you might have to talk to someone at their online store (some of the posters in the forum have said they were able to order it at the online store-not sure if they got it though)

I wanted to delete the information i had stored on the phone, so thought i had to 'Erase All Content and Settings' however i fear this may of been incorrect, I cannot load the setup on the phone now, all i get is; 'we are unable to contiue with this activation, please try again later or contact customer care, i have tried to do this several times now to no avail
