It says that my iphone is in soft dfu mode and in the my computer > manage>device manager > it shows the apple (dfu mode) having some error sign indicating no software installed i am running windows 8 ..

Why can I print from my iPhone and not my iPad? I have been able to do it in the past. I have tried a hard reset but it still cannot find the printer.
In addition to rebooting the router and the iPad, I would reset the printer as well. Unplug the printer from power and do the same with the router. Leave the router unplugged for about 30 seconds. Plug the router in first and let it totally start up, plug the printer in again, and then reboot/reset the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't work, you can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. Your WiFi passwords, location services, device preferences all have to be re-entered. You will not lose any data or media whatsoever. -

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times. -

I can still receive calls etc and can see a 'backlight' come on behind the black screen when buttons are pressed, but I can not see anything on the screen. Take it to an Apple store. They can help you with a repair. If you take it anywhere else, Apple will not repair your phone if anything goes wrong. -

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
When it says place the iPodin recovery mode use this prgram.
RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iPod was plugged in over night. When I woke up in the morning it had a black screen and wouldn't turn on at all. Also it doesn't say that its charging when it's plugged in and when plugged into the computer nothing comes up like it did before.
Reset it by holding the on/off and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider if it appears first), then release. You won't lose any data by doing this.

I'm trying to export my 3 minute long project using QuickTime conversion but only the first 30 seconds of the sequence exports. How do I get the full video to export?
If you're trying to export it to WMA or WMV, you need to purchase a version of Flip4Mac which includes that capability. QuickTime cannot create files in those formats without third-party software which provides the necessary engine; even though it appears that QuickTime is doing the conversion, it's not.

Delete the song from your iTunes library and re-download it:
In the iTunes Store click on the Music tab, then on Purchased under Quick Links on the right. Click on Music>Songs>All Songs>Not in My Library, and find the song you just deleted. You should see a cloud on the right-hand side - click on it to re-download.
