my wife has an Iphone 3gs and has Net10 service but she can't load Safari she had net 10 do a diagnostic on her phone and everything checked out is there a fix to this problem?

After reading a few more posts, I also tried the following:
airplane mode on, power off phone, power on phone, airplane mode off, wifi on
And
airplane mode on, wifi on, restart phone, airplane mode off, wifi on
Still unable to connect to ANY wirless network

First make sure both iPhones are using the lastest iOS 5.1.1. Secondly make sure all of your data is backed up in separate iCloud accounts one for each user. Make sure that you are all of the options in iCloud are on. Then you have to switch the sim cards.

You can use iTunes to restore or the iCloud option. I find that iCloud is much easier to setup but it requires wifi.

You would have to sign in with your account. Be aware that an iDevice or Mac or PC can only be associated with a particular iCloud/ iTunes in the Cloud account once every 90 days. So if you associate your iTunes in the cloud/Match account with her iPhone ,she will have to wait 90 days before going back to HER itunes in the cloud account.

Upgrading iPhone 3GS to iOS4 unable to import photos to iPhoto

After upgrading my iPhone 3GS to iOS4, I am unable to import photos to iPhoto. Also, iPhone does not turn up in iPhoto. Unable to find other ways to import photos from iPhone. No problems importing before upgrade. Anyone with a god solution?

I too had troubles with iPhoto and the iPhone Photo app. They are solved for now. Problem description and action take are as follows.
Problem 1 - Got a new iPhone 4 and upgrade my wife's iPhone 3GS to iOS 4. For both phones, when I connected them to iTunes to sync and selected on the Photo tab to sync my entire iPhoto library, nothing synced to the iPhones.
Solution 1 - I opened iPhoto to ensure my photo collection was indeed there. I closed iPhoto and tried to sync the phones again. This time, the sync took place, taking a long time since the thumbnail photo collection had to be created.
Problem 2 - I knew the photos were on the phones since the sync was complete. On the new iPhone 4, I could see the photos when I selected events or faces or places. The albums tab was blank. On the 3GS, it still looked like there were no photos.
Solution 2 - I shut down the iPhones holding both home key and the power button. I waited a minutes and restarted. Upon restart, both Photo apps displayed my photo collections properly - at least for now.

since the update to iOS 4.3.3 (8J2) of my iphone 3GS 32G the Bluetooth connection to my BMW Mini Cooper S 2006 is bouncing. I´ve already resetted the whole iPhone 3GS telefon AND the Bluetooth connection of the car. The Linking to the car is working fine but the telefon looses the connection after 10 seconds again, and reconnects - looses - reconnects......
The BT-Connection to a Nokia Device is steady and working fine.
Has anybody a solution for this prob ?

There is a way to downgrade if you connect to shirks server and manually download 4.3x ipsw. Just do a search in google for 'downgrade3gs to iOS 4.x.x' hope this helps

Hold down the power button and home button at the same time until the phone powers on, shuts back off, powers on again and continue to hold it until it shows the itunes logo to plug in to itunes. This should allow you to restore without unlocking it.

What happened to the phone. Did it just go black? Did you try to plug it into Itunes and see if it can be seen or throw it on the charger. You can still try the reset procedure listed in http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430 and see if the phone turns back on.
The only way to get things back is to have backed them up ahead of time.
