HT1688 Random Apps Suddenly Crashing - iPhone 5s 32GB - ios7

I recently got the iPhone 5s - 32GB. I got it last Friday (9/27) and it has been working great until this morning. Random apps are now crashing upon opening. I have tried forcing them to close (after double clicking the home button) and reinstalling them. Nothing seems to work. Examples of apps include FB, caringbridge, Groupon, Poshmark, local news apps, etc.

Try This...
Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons..

ITunes 10.4 Crashes Upon App Sync With iPhone 3GS 32GB & iPad 2 64GB

I'm using the most recent iTunes software update (10.4.0.80) in conjunction wth IOS 4.3.5 on both my iPhone 3GS 32GB and iPad 2 64GB.
Both my iPhone and iPad have become unusable.

Well, yesterday I fixed this. I don't know very well what of all the things I did was the one that fixed my problem:
When I tried to reindtall Lion it told me that my disk was not able to be used for the instalation so, investigating a lot pf posts, I did all this in order to reinstall Lion and see if iTunes worked properly after this:
-I removed my Bootcamp partition (used to use Windows XP).
-I made an empty small partition.
-Then I was able to reinstall Lion into my main partition.
-Installed Lion. iTunes started to work again.
-I removed the small partition.
I hope this helps someone.

Apps suddenly crashing on 5S (with iOS 7.0.3)

I installed 7.0.3 on my 4S, 5S and iPad when it came out (so a few days ago). Everything was fine.
Today, all of a sudden, apps are crashing on my 5S (and only my 5S). For example, if I click on a link in Mail, it immediately crashes (actually I think it's the launched Safari that's crashing, since Mail still shows up in the running apps display). I'm seeing Safari sometimes crash on its own. I'm seeing the FB app crash when I press the notifications or messages icon or try to open any link in it. I'm also seeing the Weather Channel and Weather Underground apps crash on opening.
Any idea what could be happening or how to fix it?

Go to settings>icloud>storage and back up>back up
after that preform a restore by going to
general>reset>erase all content and settings
this will delete everything except the enabled stuff on icloud.
You can view whats enabled by going to icloud in settings.

ITunes Radio/Music Randomly Playing on My iPhone 5 with iOS7

Hello,
I apparently do not understand how iTunes Radio/Music operates as I am noticing what I think is strange behavior on my iPhone 5 running iOS 7. I am noticing that under "artists" in the music app there are suddenly 49 songs that are appearing that I did not download to my iPhone and I can never seem to really get rid of them. There will be times when I wake up my iPhone and presented with one of these songs playing making it appear as if music has been running constantly in the background. Other times, I will just get my normal lockscreen. Our others experiencing this? I have also noticed that the songs that are showing
I have started listing to iTumes Radio as well but I don;t think the music that is playing is actually iTunes radio but instead these 49 songs that randomly synced to my iPhone without my knowledge. I would like to delete them and stop having songs randomly appear at times when I wake up my phone. Also, I do not subscribe to iTunes Match.

I'm having the same trouble. Sometimes restarting both the mac and the iDevice will help, but not always.
I restarted in OS X Recovery System mode and rand the Disk Utility and dozens of permissions problems were discovered! THe trouble is Disk Utility can not seem to fix them and when I reinstalled iTunes 11.1.1 from the Apple site there was no improvement.
My music library is close to 400gb and I get VERY nervous updating or working on iTunes for fear of losing something. Most is on CD somewhere though there is not time enough in this life to to re-rip everything.
What is worse is I just bought Capo 3 and when I drag my songs from iTunes to Capo 3 it says all my files are bad. It does work if I move the songs directly from the iTunes folder under Music.

this condition after update my iPhone 5 to iOS 8.1.1n
1. sometime screen unresponsive , i press power button to sleep, wake up using home button it will work, but if i press power button for wake up screen still unresponsive.
2. Setting for sleep 1 minute , but after more than 1 minute still not sleep i have to press power button to make slleep.
3. if i don't press home button for sleep suddenly iphone will open some application like mail, search app (type some letter), open passbook, play music and the stranger thing is suddenly make a call.

hi Franxis . . . below is what I had to do . . . I believe that my crashing, perpetual rebooting and reset loops was due to some combination of my iPhone 5's hardware, iOS 8.1.1, and some applications.
I upgraded to iOS 8.1.1 upon release.   approx. 10 hours after this upgrade, the iPhone 5 displayed a bright white screen. tried hard reset & phone would not turn on. iPhone eventually turned on, to display lines & colors, but iPhone was inoperable - would not reset using sleep / home key combination or connection to iTunes
I brought my iPhone to the Retail Store - RS was able to reset phone, and then began the process of restoring from my last backup there & said it would continue throughout the day. After the restore from backup completed, the crashing, perpetual rebooting and reset loops started again.
1. I was eventually able to perform a DFU & installed the phone as new (factory reset, I believe).
2. I did NOT perform a restore from backup.
3. The phone seems to run fine now
The long story is that days 1-3, after the DFU / factory reset, the phone ran fine. And, on day 4, I began installing Apps again. When I installed the fourth App, and the phone crashed, changing colors, perpetually rebooting, and unable to start / get into a functional mode.   On day 4, I had to leave the phone alone for a while - was eventually able to perform another DFU - factory reset - and again no restore from backup. Today - day 5 - my iPhone is running fine again and I installed 11 Apps now (not the one that crashed my iPhone), accessed them all, and phone seems fine.
For me, it seems like an App, or some Apps that I was running caused the issues for me - it could be a combination of everything (certain Apps + iOS 8.1.1 + hardware not getting along).

Hi Andreeab, welcome to the community!
You can try clearing the data for Walkman and see if that helps. To do so just go into Settings > Apps > All > Walkman > tap Walkman and tap Clear data. Then test out the app again.
If the issue persists, try booting the phone in Safe Mode and see whether the same thing occurs while in Safe Mode, then report back to us.
To enter Safe Mode just power the phone off and on again, when the Xperia Logo appears on screen just hold the volume down key until the phone fully boots and vibrates.

HT1688 Camera app wont launch. iPhone 5s.

My camera app or Flashlight app will not launch. I can get the camera to work via Instagram but only the camera facing me will work.

Contacts app crashing (iPhone 4, iOS 5)

After updating my iPhone 4 [GSM model] to iOS, Im having a repeating crashs with the Contacts app:
When trying to create a new contact, after pressing "done" the app suddenly crashes, and the only solution I found is to enter 1 detail to the contact info then editing it couple times to add the other info needed. I hope you'll fix this issue soon.

Thank you for your reply....I actually managed to get it showing in itunes....but couldn't open the phone at all....so took a gamble and got itunes to restore my phone back to factory settings ! which it did...then it restored all the backed up info.....so far so good !!!! phone seems to be working !!! no red lines...! but am still going to take it to the apple store and get them to check it out.......Oh....I lost all the apps I'd bought.....although their on itunes....my phone won't ake them back ??? try general>settings>reset>reset all settings and start up as an new phone.

I have this excact problem too, Deleting the the app and then reinstalling it won't delete your photos as they are stored on facebooks servers. You will just have to remember you username and password to sign in again. Ever since Facbook bought instagram i have had this problem on my 4S too.

Can you start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

IPhone iOS 8: Tapping on photo icon in messages app causes app to crash

Issue (?ios 8 bug?): Tapping on photo icon in messages app causes app to crash. Present in ios 8.0, and also still in ios 8.0.2. iPhone 6+ 64GB.
I just wondered if anyone else has been having this problem.
Initially it worked great. Tapping the photo button next to the text box in message should bring up a menu with your latest photos and other sharing options. However, after the first couple of days, tapping the button brought up the menu, the phone freezes, and then after a few seconds the photo app crashes.
Deleting most of my photos restored the function, but after another couple of days (and some more photos) it started happening again so I think perhaps it is related to the number of photos. After about 5-10 photos it loads the menu very slowly and its quite buggy. After 20+ photos it wont load the menu at all without freezing and the app crashing.
My iphone 6+ was set up as a new phone (not restored from back-up).
I hope this is some kind of bug that will be fixed in ios 8.0.3, but wondered if anyone else has the same problem or has any solutions?
My workaround at the moment is just to go the photos app and either copy and paste the photo into a message, or share the photo via the photos app.

I have this same issue with my 128 gb 6 plus. I've tried restoring as new on a few occasions, but to no avail. I did notice while my pc was synchronizing my apps, that the feature worked fine a few times until the synchronization was complete. I seriously hope that the numbers of photos limits one's use of the feature, because i purchased the 128 gb 6 plus so that i could keep photos at my ready.
Has anyone heard of a solution yet?
