I had to use my google maps app... it then took me to the correct address and located it no problem. please update at least this address so people in need of health care don't go through the same thing I had to endure...

Because my street is about a year old but when i search my address it still shows up as an empty block... very aggrevating.
None of the maps are updated frequently....every 4 - 5 years is about right.
Look up your local amusement park if it adds new rides every year...you can see what is there and what is not and sort of get an idea from that when the latest maps were updated. -

Help, My I-Phone 4 is a little over a year old. I have never dropped it nor does it have water damage. I downloaded the new update IOS 7.4 and the next morning my phone was stuck on the apple icon and won't turn on. It's also showing a low battery after charging it all night. Please does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Help is our middle name! So let's jump into troubleshooting right away. Have you tried holding the power button and home key simultaneously for up to 30 seconds as an alternate reset? Please give that a shot and let us know how it goes.

How often does the Apple TV sync with updated home sharing playlists?
I am trying to use several Apple TV's at my business for content management throughout our campus. I want to be able to have a playlist of pictures and videos that is easy to update. Can anyone tell me how often the Apple TV syncs with the home sharing network for an updated playlist? It would be very inconvenient if the only way was to do a reboot on every device each time content was updated.

I can't really say for sure how often the Apple TV updates its shared libraries.
I do however know that once the Apple TV as completed playing something, it will sync with the shared library in order to update the play count. So I'd be reasonably sure that the shared library is updated at least once every time something is played. -
My ipad has a black screen and the apple logo and won't do anything else. I have tried to reset to no avail.
Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times. -

Sounds like you have an iPhone 3G, not a 3GS. If so, iOS 4.2.1 is the end of the line for your phone. -

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

How often does the m7 take a steps measurement?
I have an iPhone 5s. I checked my steps in the health app and if I am to believe what I saw, the m7 takes 5 or 6 measurements per minute (that part I believe) and the hard part is that I took 200 or so steps in 1 minute. How often is the iPhone taking a steps measurement? It's not like I was running. I was in the grocery store, I think.

I wasn't sure if it is done dynamically whenever there are changes or if there were timers that it uses to conduct it's table refresh rates and are those timers adjustable? The documentation on the Cisco site is very vague when it comes to CEF tables on IOS's 15.1 and above. Any good links you have on how it does it's updating would be very helpful to me - thanks! -
I have recently had to fire my web designer who was using iWeb. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get the site to open in iWeb on my new MacBook Pro. Is there a way?
Firstly iWeb CAN'T IMPORT any kind of published html code as it has no import facility. You can however add html code, javascript and css by selecting the html snippet and placing it on your page the entering the code in here and clicking on Apply. You DO NOT create a shape as you say - you use the html snippet and place your code in there.
There are not really a lot of ways in which you can write code - if you want to enter small amounts of code, then you would use an ordinary text editor to do this such as Text Edit on a Mac or Text Wrangler. If you want to add code to iWeb like this, then you would either use the html snippet method in iWeb itself or you would have to publish the site to a local folder from iWeb and open the relevant html page with a text editor and add the additional code in this way and then publish. However, if he decided to add the code with a text editor, then you would have to upload the pages directly to the server using an ftp client - if you try to upload the site directly from iWeb, all the extra code will be overwritten.
As for checking whether the site was created using iWeb, all you need do is view the site in Safari and then click on View and then select View Source Code and it will tell you.
Even thoough extra code was added to the site and he might well have done this by publishing to a local folder and adding the code with a text editor, he should still have the domain file for the site too.
Ask again. I'm sure that for adding quick code, most would not want to use programmes such as Dreamweaver, but a simple text editor will suffice. As OT already said, if he claims that he does not have the domain.sites file, then try Flux 4 which is a web design programme and has full import facilities. At least this way, if he just gives you the published version of the site, you have some way of opening it.
You can download a free trial of Flux 4 and you can also purchase the full version from the Mac App Store if you decide you like it. -

How pervasive are the iPad 3's Wi-Fi problems?
Obviously, a lot of people are having problems with iPad 3 Wi-Fi. But of course only a tiny fraction of iPad 3 users have ever reported such a difficulty.
So before I buy an iPad myself, I'm wondering -- how widespread are the problems? There surely are more iPad users who don't see the problems than who do -- but are the ones with the problems a large minority? A small one? A tiny fraction?
By the way, I'd only consider an LTE version. And I live in the United States.
Thanks!I'm pretty new to Apple let alone the iPad, but I have not experienced any serious problems in the ~3 weeks I've used it. A few stutters and some slow connections, but not consistently. No worse than my Acer/Win 7 laptop. I would much rather have a hard wired ethernet connector than wifi most of the time, though. My cable sped is significantly aster than the wireless.
I've only experienced minor issues, mostly with apps. So far I really like the iPad and might seriously consider a Mac laptop next.
