HT1688 where do i find my contacts that i backed up last week

I know that there is a way to get all of the contacts that I backed up last week, but I cannot find it on my phone.  Any help?

What cloud service or contact manager were you syncing them with? They should still be there.

    I recently used iCloud backup on my iPhone 5S and then restored the phone to factory settings in iTunes. The contents of the phone is "somewhere" in the Cloud but I don't know where to find it on my Mac Book Pro - accessing my iCloud account just shows all the devices that are backed-up but not where the contents of the phones are.
    Specifically I am trying to locate photographs.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    A backup to iCloud is not designed to be accessed or viewed -- it is designed only for use in doing a restore to the phone or iOS device. Following has instructions on how to do that http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203977
    iCloud Photo Library (beta) iCloud Photo Library beta FAQ - Apple Support does support storing photos on iCloud and accessing them from a web browser from your Mac (and likely in the near future from a new Photos app on your Mac) but that is something different than an iCloud backup.

    They will only sync to the supported contact application YOU SELECT on the Info pane in iTunes. That would be either Windows Address Book or Outlook.

    You can view the full purchase history on your account via your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.

    You should be syncing your contacts, either OTA or with a supported application on your computer. Not doing so is a guaranteed way to lose them all.

    Your contact folder holds all your known email address type the 1st & 2nd letter of the persons name and the email address should pop right into the que.

    Individual photos are not accessilble in the backup. You should be extracting photos from the phone to your computer like you would with any other digital camera.
