I have the same error message appearing for all my apple products. ipad,ipod,iphone and ipod touch. I have reinstalled the itunes software 3 times but still the error message appears and Im unable to download my new purchases or updates playlists. Its really annoying!

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
New cable and different USB port?

Assuming you have windows, try uninstalling iTunes and all of its components as by following this guide exactly: Windows XP or Windows Vista/7, then reinstall iTunes. You must follow this guide exactly or it will not be successful. Note: uninstalling iTunes will only remove the application; it will not touch your iTunes library or data.

- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

After multiple installations of iTunes it can be frustrating when the issue isnt resolved. I was able to locate the following knowledge base article that specifically addresses the "Error 7" you are recieving.

The Resolution section has different steps depending on what version of the Windows Operating System you're using. Since it can be a bad installation of these Windows files, pay close attention to the instructions on repairing if the file already exhists.

Hello, I have trouble with downloading anything by adobe.com. I have done mainly everything. Well, my problem is, whenever I download a trial, I can finish and open Adobe Download Manager, but when I attempt to sign in to my account in Adobe Download Manager, it says: "Error communicating with adobe.com (Error 100) Check your network connection, and restart Adobe Download Manager."
